Talks a lot of sense, Jim, despite being an Everton fan. Southport have had some disappointing results but have rarely been outplayed, by all accounts. Kudos to the manager for being willing to share his thoughts after most games. Congratulations on the win. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season.

Whatever anyone thinks we were in real relegation trouble when he came.
I thought between 12th to possibly 8th this season.
We simply are not as good as the clubs in the top 6.
We do not have the money and are not ran as well as clubs like Curzon, Brackley, Buxton, Chorley or even Oxford City City.
Nothing bar theOwners money, No suppporters groups fund raising money or liasing with the club.
The club have had to even organise coaches with a couple of decent fans.
    We do nothing bar gate
moneys we are where we are!
We do not have the organisation or money to be much above 8th.
    It's that simple

The recruitment has been diabolical.. Where is the investment that the BHG promised? The kit deal with patrick was a complete disaster! It seems that the club is being run by amateurs... Southport deserves better
