Description
The pinnacle of what a foam jet can be - Futura V3
The FMS Futura is a licensed sport jet developed by FMS in conjunction with Tomahawk- Aviation. Designed by a Sino-German team of engineers, the Futura represents the pinnacle of what a foam jet can be.
While retaining V1 features such as the CNC metal trailing-link landing gear for rough field operations, robust airframe with high-strength wing spars, oversized electronics bay, etc, and V2 features such as 13g all-metal digital servos for increased precision and torque, improved durable and reliable plug-type connectors, the FMS 80mm Futura V3 is upgraded with added alternately flashing navigation lights on the left and right wings and taxi lights on the bottom of the fuselage, and a recognizable and attractive red-grey paint scheme.
Powering the Futura V3 is an industry-leading Hobbywing 100A ESC paired with an uprated 3665-KV2000 motor turning an 80mm 12-bladed fan- delivering breathtaking power with absolute confidence.
Features
1. Power system: Hobbywing 100A ESC, 3665-KV2000motor, 80mm 12 bladed fan
2. CNC all-metal landing gear. 10mm diameter worm drive, trailing-link suspension, highly precise and robust.
3. All servos upgraded to 13g digital all-metal units for improved precision and torque
4. Large tires- suitable for rough-field operations

Thanks for watching guys!! This is a great jet and you can get yours at FMSMODEL.COM👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
What a great year 2022 was for jets! I think the 90mm Viper started the year. Then I got the Freewing F-22, and then started the “FMS Experience”. I had never owned an FMS. The Yak-130 started process. Then the Bae Hawk and shortly after the Futura v3. I didn’t think there was a better, more enjoyable edf to fly than the Viper 90mm. Both the FMS Bae Hawk and the Futura v3 are just great to fly. If I could only take one jet to fly out of those three, it would be the Futura v3. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd and increase the size of the ESC and the FMS platinum 80mm. (Like it wasn’t fast enough… Now I have an 8s Futura….)
Wow!!!…very nice, love my futura V3, thanks so much for watching 👊🏼
Nice Jeff! Very cool sport jet
Thanks buddy!! Flys amazing and looks great as well👊🏼
Very nice flight and a great video!
Best I’ve ever flown. I would’ve said the 90mm Viper was up there, but I took them both to the field and the Fv3 was more fun.
I get it…the futura just flys awesome and sounds great, both are excellent planes👊🏼👊🏼
Super smooth flying Jeff. Awesome plane and excellent video 👍👍😎👊🤟🏼
Thanks so much ROY👊🏼👊🏼
nice flight guys
Thanks Rhuff 👊🏼👊🏼
Pretty good job on the filming Wayne what camera are you using? And of course Jeff you did some nice piloting!
Thanks brother, this flight was my IPhone 12 plus max
Congrats Jeff! I see you have the FMS Futura 80mm and the E-Flite Viper 90mm, so that sparks a video idea.
Many pilots looking for a foam sport jet in the 80-90mm EDF size range are likely considering three planes because they are from popular companies, the quality is generally good, and the value is overall good. So, maybe consider making a comparison video or “Battle of the Sport Jets” showing Pros and Cons of the FMS Futura 80mm, the E-Flite Viper 90mm, and the Freewing Avanti 80mm jets. This may help people settle on purchasing one or more of them (you can never have too many sport jets, ha-ha!). If you don’t have an Freewing Avanti 80mm, hopefully someone at the field does to help with the comparison.
Just a fun idea! Have fun tearing up the skies.
Hey buddy!!!….sounds great, that’s what we want to get together soon, thanks for the support 👊🏼👊🏼
@@JeffsCustomRC Looking forward to it!!
Thank you for this great review sir💯👍
Thanks for the support 👊🏼👊🏼
super nice plane Jeff. I'd like to have one but I'm saving my coinage for a Turbine
Hey I get it…..I’m working up to a turbine as well, but live my warm up jets 😬👊🏼👊🏼
What the heck is that noise in the mic.? Scratching it or bumping it with your finger?. Nice jet but the audio is annoying
Thanks, we now have better mics, thanks for watching and commenting
Any thoughts between this and avanti v2
Haven’t flown the avanti, however a friend has it and I personally like the futura better, just my opinion 😬👊🏼
Eats battery juice quick. Might need a 5000 mAh in it or even a 6000
