    Everyone tries WWE at some point in their career (save for a few exceptions like Kenny Omega) so it'd be a nice venture, I trust Triple H in booking him right but Vince is also back so there's a weird power struggle in the WWE at the moment.

  • @tonware
    @tonware Год назад +17

    To me, him going to WWE would be the biggest test in seeing how talented and versatile he is. Let’s see how he performs without the middle fingers, profanity and edgy high school like humor.
    By no means am I saying he doesn’t have talent (because he does), but like Freddie said, WWE plays by a different set of rules and just because his act worked in one company, doesn’t mean it’ll translate well in WWE. Besides, this is WWE we’re talking about: where they love taking established stars from other companies and putting their own spin on them. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up like EC3.

    • @JusRed48
      @JusRed48 Год назад +6

      This is overlooking how he works in the ring entirely imo. He's genuinely an amazing wrestler, he's not just entertaining because he's edgy on the mic. He understands how to work as a heel in the sense that his job is to get his opponents over and make them look good and get cheered. He would be able to easily succeed anywhere he goes in all honesty. EC3 is nowhere near his capability.

    • @jdmintegradp
      @jdmintegradp 10 месяцев назад

      Actually your kinda wrong there and I will gladly tell you why. Ec3 had it all in TNA he had a lot of freedom and he had so much creativity in that ring that he could make any blow joe look half way descent because he's good on the mic, his in ring abilities are pretty tight and he can work a match and make you look good and he takes good bumps while also being a face at times and carrying the company on his back with very little ease. So yeah like mjf, he ec3 also has very similar abilities and can do both and so much more. To bed his chances were blown out of proportion.

    When he sees how well his friend Cody is doing in WWE And the fact he wants to go to Hollywood one day it's a lot easier to do that when you're watched by 2.2m people a week than 750k plus if WWE misused him Tony would have him back anyway. There's no one good left in aew for mjf to feud with now apart from omega he's done it all

    I hope he does. He’s a big fish in a small pond. He is head & shoulders above the other 3 pillars in every way. Darby is a distant second. Max Will actually have to wrestle more if he jumped ship. But Austin Theory & MJF as a heel tag team could be fucking money.
    As long as they let him keep his name & presentation & don’t write his verbiage, he’ll be fine & he’ll get over even more than he has in AEW. & he’ll come straight to the main roster. I’d love if he came over & reignited his feud with Cody.

    The freedom is the big thing that I think will be a dealmaker/breaker for AEW's big stars going to WWE or not. It either becomes a case of Cody where his ideas didn't work and the well dried or it will be like the Bucks, MJF, or Darby where you get the impression their freedom has to be at this level from now on and they likely wouldn't prefer going backward.

Mjf is going to enjoy aew and wwe having a bidding war over him. Hopefully Mjf doesn't leave aew, but he already planting the seed that him going to wwe could be a possibility. MJF should learn from Sting and try to avoid WWE as long as he can. He will have one great story line with Miz (the great talker from AEW vs the great talker fromWWE) and then be demoted to a mid carder because he is a small guy, compared to the WWE bodybuilders. On top of that he's a top guy from a rival promotion and there's no way WWE would allow an outside to dominate their company

    He is getting the Roman Reigns treatment while not being anywhere close to Roman. If he goes to WWE he falls down the pecking order in the ring but also out of the ring. He has to compete with a lot of other people for reality tv and entertainment options. It just makes no sense and seems like a complete work. I just hope this entire year is not drawn out for the decision of 2024 storyline. His title reign has not been great. He rarely wrestles and when he does you know there is no chance his opponent wins. Maybe Punk and MJF have a feud again but I doubt Punk wants to put himself in the title picture again. Its really sad there are no baby faces or main event people on the roster.

  • @jayjaymontes9172

    The problem of MJF being in WWE is his height and he can’t completely be himself in WWE because the powers to be would not allow him to say certain things on tv , he definitely won’t be able to call anyone a piece of shit or say bullshit on live tv , WWE would just water MJF down a bit .

    Currently, it would be a terrible idea. WWE was ramping up when Triple H took over creative, but the last couple months, it's obvious that he's not fully in control anymore. Roman keeping the titles, the illogical draft, the weekly shows getting less interesting, etc. A guy like MJF would be "difficult to work with" in WWE, because he lives his character and knows what's best for it. I have no faith in WWE to keep MJF as good as he currently is under their system. Of course that's for him to decide, but look at Cody. He was brought in as a megastar, booked well, everyone loved him, and even when the time was right to dethrone Roman, they still didn't do it. They had to introduce a new world title because "Roman is too good", but really, they fucked up and they don't know how to fix it. This is not the company I would choose.

    • @DudeinGA
      @DudeinGA Год назад +3

      I agree. If they didn't screw over Cody and not have him win at WrestleMania, I could see MJF going over to WWE in 2024. He would have ready made feuds with Cody, Seth, even Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns. As it is now? No way. If MJF went there today, MJF would likely see what happened to Cody Rhodes and insist to not lose to Roman Reigns. He would of course be asked to lose and probably no show the match or give Reigns the finger and lay down on the mat. Then he would do his pipebomb again on Raw and instead tell Vince McMahon "fire me you f*cking mark."
      WWE needs MJF to actually make their shows interesting again. But he has so much more freedom in AEW and he doesn't have wrestle either!

    • @MichaelSheaAudio
      @MichaelSheaAudio Год назад

      @@DudeinGA For sure. It's more like WWE needs him more than he needs them. He's got it made in AEW. He can basically do whatever he wants and it makes for great television. I personally would not want to see MJF actually become a less successful Miz. I want MJF to keep being one of the best things going in wrestling, so selfishly, I want him to stay in AEW. 😛

    • @DudeinGA
      @DudeinGA Год назад +1

      @@MichaelSheaAudio Keep in mind, I don't even like MJF and think he's an okay wrestler. Would he have been allowed to sing Louis Prima in WWE? Probably not.
