SCOTT I LOVE YOU BROTHER!
I've been saying this shit for YEARS!
Tony Khan, hire this man to run ROH!
That I'll support
Scott is starting his own company. Maple Leaf Wrestling.
@@Morganj27 Mauro ranallo just got signed to it too
Straight up, if I was TK I'd be paying this guy all the money in the world to help book my shows, Scott has a great mind for the business.
Hire him to run both!
Y'all do know that Endeavor owns the TNA streaming rights. So basically without saying as much Endeavor owns UFC, WWE and TNA
Probably why wwe & tna got a working relationship now.
Man I miss Scott in TNA
I hate that the console war type stuff in modern wrestling has ruined nuanced conversations about wrestling online
That’s a stupid comparison that is nothing alike, absolutely nothing alike.
@@rossrobson91 it's exactly like that
@@rossrobson91No trust me it's like that
Or the stupid iPhone vs android bs. It's pathetic seeing people be genuinely upset that people like other stuff.
Monday Night Wars' happened
The fact is, TNA never would've gotten into the position to work with the WWE if they hadnt worked with AEW. That AEW partnership gave Impact the boost and the Kick in the ass it needed to get itself to where it is now, as a legitimate potential 3rd big wrestling brand, which most people know there hasn't been in the US since 2001. Impact walked with AEW so that TNA could run by itself.
TNA didn’t need AEW to be the 3rd wrestling brand. They would have been regardless. Only benefit TNA had from the partnership was Kenny Omega appearing on their show. After that partnership ended, TNA went back to where they were before. At least with the NXT partnership, they’re getting more exposure and it’s an equal partnership.
Not true cause if you forgot mickie was knockout champion before aew did a partnership with tna and everybody said we can get that but we gotta wait for Vince to leave
@@CulEdzKenny came on tna multiple times when tna only gets trash nxt ppl💯
@@LILJAYSO777 I’m 100% certain that more people have seen the ad of Joe Hendry’s concert on NXT during RAW than anything Kenny Omega did during that TNA-NXT partnership.
@@CulEdz actually Kenny gave tna its highest ratings just over 900k when nxt only gets 700k even with joe Hendry and even if nxt would have had more viewers lol more people seeing a Joe Hendry concert benefits Joe Hendry and wwe who’s just gonna poach him anyway obviously lol this in no way helps tna views at all they haven’t even scratched what they did with Kenny and AEW yet 💯
Much respect to Scott D'Amore by not being a WWE mark, and burying Tony Khan and AEW. He actually put Tony Khan over. Scott D'Amore a true Pro Wrestling promoter and businessman.
Imagine if Tony Khan hired both Scott D'Amore and Shane McMahon to run AEW and ROH, while having current AEW Director of Business Development Jeff Jarrett revive his Global Force Wrestling (GFW) as a developmental to AEW, ROH and Scott D'Amore's Maple 🍁 Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP).
Scott will be perfect for ROH GM
he is starting his own compnay in canada.
THANKS SCOTT DAMORE! For putting RESPECT on Kenny Omega. I despise "A certain" podcaster who hates Omega, Bro legit wrestled 1 year with so many injuries, he's my favorite wrestler
You're such a mark
A lot of those podcasters are ridiculous. I agree. Guess I’m a mark too!
@@RunandLift2 I guess you were blessed with a golden shower by Vince McMahon
@@RunandLift2lmao a mark calling others marks
Kenny wouldn’t be so banged up if he would learn to work a safer style. I’ve seen his stuff it’s not for me. When you’re constantly on the shelf you need to look at what your doing and make a change.
Thank you Scott. I hope some people will understand now.
AEW was the Genesis of the working relationships between wrestling promotions.
Tony Khan & AEW really helped TNA Wrestling bounce back and vice versa.
WWE and Paul Levesque should give Tony Khan his props for creating the "Forbidden Door."
No. No it wasn't. This was common practice in the territory days.
There have been many time in history when two or more wrestling promotions worked together long before AEW's existence. Territories did it regularly, ECW and WWF did it in the mid-90s, WCW and New Japan did it in it in the 90s also. Pre-Tony Khan ROH and New Japan did it periodically throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Take a seat.
Lmao, keep sucking maybe tony will come for you someday
Honestly with Khan's comments about WWE, I'll doubt Papa H and WWE will ever give props to AEW unless Khan's out the door.
I'm aware that working relationships within wrestling organizations has happened before in the past, especially before and after I was born.
But, when Vincent K. McMahon bought both WCW & and ECW. His promotion was the only #1 Wrestling Organization in the 🌎. He REFUSES to work with other wrestling companies, inside or outside of North America, in the past 20 years.
But now AEW reinstated the "Forbidden Door." Now everything has changed for the better in the world of professional wrestling.
Kenny Omega is one of the greatest to ever do it
lololololololololol
“It” just isn’t wrestling.
Cemented himself as an all timer in ring in 2017. The year after became probably the best draw gaijin ever for western audiences - turning viewers to paid viewers for NJPW.
What fingerpainting?
WWE is doing this because AEW did this otherwise they wouldn't have worked with TNA.
There are rumors that Wwe buying Tna so they adjusting their wrestlers to wwe devolemental. This is not a partnership.
He speaking fax bruh wwe only wanna poach joe Hendry they’re not giving tna anything really unlike AEW who gave them omega the AEW world champ
I would love to see WWE/Triple H send Kevin Owens, Sami, Jade, and The Street Profits down to Impact for like two months.
He was one of the best wwf jobbers in the mid-90s. He carried Impact to new levels to rebrand it as TNA. Shame they let him go for total control of the brand
I really like the TNA/NXT crossover and hope we get much more of it.
Bro they got the same j’s on
Remember impact taped their shows 3 weeks in 1 setting
Scott obviously loved TNA a lot it's really sad that they got rid of him because I want to get into watching TNA but I feel so bad about how they treated Scott I just don't know if I should get into it after the way they treated such a nice man
Just watch it lol it's over with and tna is still cooking
People come and go in business. If I'm not mistaken, Scott has been with TNA three times meaning he was released or quit three times. It happens.
Personally, I got back on board with the rebrand, then left when they dropped Scott. I don't care what anybody says, I don't wanna watch TNA anymore, it's just NXT on a different channel at this point.
Don’t watch it then. Scott’s situation has nothing to do with you, he doesn’t even know you
Kenny came into TNA, won their world title, rarely showed up on TNA TV, put NO TNA talent over and then dropped the belt to an AEW wrestler (Christian) so Christian could instead put somebody over. And then the partnership just died. No big send off or special event, just dead and barely anyone actually remembers it.
What did TNA gain in the long run from working with AEW besides some of their top talents doing the job for Kenny?
They survived the pandemic with the AEW boost. Ring of Honor wasn't as lucky.
Prior to COVID TNA was getting strong and when that happened the had to rebuild and now there back just look how many people was at the last big ppv
AEW changed the wrestling world for the better
thank God for AEW ❤
Yes. The 50,000 people that watch it on TV agree.
@@jasonfuller2734 these are just bots...
You don't have to like AEW to acknowledge the positives it has had on the wrestling business. Your comment is just willful ignorance
AEW sent not only their biggest non-WWE star but their WORLD champion to them. That's it. Full Stop. WWE sends over their NXT mid card and is actively poaching Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry.
More like NXT low card. They are only sending jobbers. It’s sad that the new TNA management is too stupid to see that WWE is only poaching their talent and has zero interest in putting TNA over
But the reverse is that TNA hardly even got a mention on AEW shows at all even when Kenny was the champion until the end when he dropped the belt to Christian. With WWE the knockouts champion was on the Royal rumble and several others have been getting heavily promoted on WWE programming. I can't think of any other than the good brothers who were contracted to impact at the time appearing or being mentioned on AEW programing so for the most part it seemed like a vanity project for Don Callis to get Kenny another title.
I think the reason why TNA was barely ever mentioned on Dynamite is because TNA wasn't matching the effort AEW had. TK paid for spots during Impact's broadcast to promote upcoming shows and TNA didn't. Gallows and Anderson were the only TNA talent that was regularly featured on weekly basis on Dynamite.
They could have had the ex-division be featured on Dynamite.
@@madringking1119You know except for the fact that the IMPACT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS were on basically every show, in the main event and won almost every match they had.
Shut up wwe is not sending jobbers they sent charlie dempsey and wes lee who are not jobbers aew didnt help them cuz kenny tanked tna ratings to less than 100k viewers
chris, next time, can you ask bruce prichard why wwe never go to china?
AEW is awesome ❤
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chaz bono
WWE will take over TNA
Yea but got ricochet....lmao
Yet somehow, AEW & TNA had a fallout, and it caused some discontent between both companies.
TNA forced deamore out that’s why there was fallout. It’s a new leadership just like WWE
@@MediCali951 But the fallout seemed to have happened before D’Amore was ousted from TNA. I hadn’t seen any deals from both companies since 2022, and that was when I knew something happened that caused both companies to distance themselves from one another.
There’s a fallout maybe because all AEW did with the partnership was made Kenny Omega the TNA champion so he has another belt for his “Belt Collector” gimmick and nothing else. TNA didn’t benefit in the long run and didn’t get much exposure other than Kenny holding their title and The Good Brothers making appearances as Kenny’s goons.
Probably because talent in TNA weren't happy that they were relegated to jobbing to AEW guys with no payoff.
Yeet
Praising dude killed knockouts division early 2000s was at there peak battling other women same dude added men in women division ruin women feuds storytelling and there promos telling me praise this dude yall coo coo men wrestling above women in tna and wwe women was struggling still is nothing happy defend about for human rights not discrimination among other sex known women
The AEW partnership was a joke, it helped AEW far more than it helped Impact. People can complain that NXT is their developmental but it is still the biggest wrestling company in the world. And the TNA talent is getting used well, not jobbed out. Plus the NXT talent that comes to TNA isn't squashing them, they are often losing on TNA tv. AEW was only a few years old, they had no legacy yet, tbey were no better than Impact other than bigger budget. Yet in the end Omega couldn't even put the new champ over - what a joke.
That’s impacts problem if they were getting advertisement on AEW(which did ten times the audience) and even with Kenny Omega(who NJPW and AEW thrived on) . The show CM Punk debuted on had the Impact world title defended. First person to beat Omega and it was for the TNA Title. That’s huge.
You even have the guy who was running the place telling you how big it was to get ppl like Omega and Christian. TNA couldn’t afford those guys by then. Is WWE doing Cody v Roman for the TNA title on one of their biggest shows? Have they ever done anything like that? Sometimes it’s ok for AEW not to be the worst thing ever. It was a fine partnership. WWE is obviously even better since they’re so huge
@@MrTambourineMan. sorry nope, they benefitted more from their New Japan partnership than AEW. Seeing Omaga to do nothing didn't help Impact but sending the Good Bros over to AEW sure helped them. It helped Omega with his Belt Collector gimmick but heaven forbid he lose to an Impact guy, that just wouldn't be acceptable. They were no better off after the angle than when it started, can't say the same here as it has already benefitted TNA talent.
@@dcb_75 now I know you’re just trolling. AEW benefited from the good brothers? Come on man.
@@MrTambourineMan. Bullet Club - AEW used then quite a bit. And they had some name value to them. But in the end, they were a bigger name than joke tag team AEW sent to Impact. In the end, Impact gained nothing.
My problem with the AEW partnership was that there was no payoff. Kenny won the TNA title and beat every TNA guy that challenged him. When he did drop the title, he dropped it to Christian Cage. Why couldn't he drop it to Moose? That doesn't make sense. As for the NXT partnership, we see the payoff. NXT gets to send down young talent to get their reps and learn how to work in different environments while TNA talent gets showcased on NXT and actually picks up wins. The whole point of the NXT partnership is to breed and showcase new talent which it has done. The aew partnership never had that.
Did you really think it's ok to make your champion and best wrestler lose for another guy on other company ? Instead of having the champion lose to one lower of your company and then dropping the title into another company.
Imagine Cody winning the TNA title, then losing to someone from TNA, doesn't it look weak?
More common sense
@@2Xboti Imagine none in aew draws more than 600 K. Except CM Punk none is or was a star over there. 🤣🤣🤣
You made no sense. Who even said anything about CM Botch?
@@2Xboti There's one problem with your logic, if Kenny Omega can't put over a TNA talent, why give him the TNA belt? The TNA title is supposed to be held by a TNA talent. Also, aew guys lose to other guys in different promotions all the time. Just look at Kingston and Moxley. Losing to Moose would not have hurt Kenny in the slightest.
@@2Xbotii would Love Cody under E contract compete in TNA, win it's world title and get beaten by Joe Hendry
I AM THE FIRST TO LEAVE A COMMENT
Nuh uh:(
Not sure if Scott is missing what people actually complain about with the AEW/TNA partnership. I dont think anyone blames Kenny or accuses him of not wanting to put any of the TNA talent over. Its more so the TK aspect
Also Tony Khan making fun of them for weeks and weeks and nothing came of it
You guys really just say anything on here. Making fun of them? So doing promos in kayfabe is making fun of them now? But yet they did all of those things Scott mentioned and helped them.
So what? So it had good views, aew still stepped on the company & Omega destroying people & not losing to anyone hurt the brand’s look as well as the Tony Khan “paid ads” where they trashed on tna & tna never got their revenge or anything which again … was NOT a good look. This is why I’m glad Scott isn’t part of the company anymore. Smh
Tna got next to nothing from Aew, and had the lowest ratings under Scott.
😂😂😂 AEW to me is like old WCW it's just a matter of time before WWE buys out AEW or they like TNA become unpopular and WWE is the only one left like TNA Moose would not be champion in WWE or would anyone from AEW be champion. I mean take punk for instance WWE champion went to AEW became champion went back to WWE not A main event player
Failure excuses at its best
Any relation to Enzo D'amore ?
It was trash.
And just like that, Scott loses half his supporters.......
AEW sucks
