He was actually stringing English sentences together which confused me. I figured that he must know what 'Chicken' and 'Curry' is, since he works in a restaurant with a Curry menu.... Really not sure what to make of that situation

@@triniexplorer6176 There are high number of foreign workers in Malaysia, some couldn't speak English / Malay. They are not suitable to work in service and hospitality industry due to their lack of language proficiency, but this country has huge labour problem.
Do not ask too many questions with foreigners. They are at times illiterate. You can test them. Even geography they fail.
Maybe he didn't understand what I was asking.... Although his English was good enough to understand Chicken Curry which confused me. Maybe I should slow down when I'm talking..
