I was one of the lucky ones. I got stuck with a dirty needle at work. I got night sweats for a few months and after six months I was told I had the anibodies to hep C. I was never told to go on drug treatment. Five year later I was told I was very lucky. There was nothing found in my RNA Test.

+Eric Hepatitis C is most lethal being the fact that there is no vaccine for it, there is this new treatment out there that you can take 1 pill a day for 12-24 weeks that targets virus multiplication cycle. Hepatitis A is transferred through feces, like having unprotected anal sex. This virus is acute and the vaccine for it is HAVRIX. Hepatitis B is shared via shared needles with someone who already has the virus, it can be transmitted to the baby by giving birth, this one can cause complications as well and there is a vaccine for this. So I just think of it this way HAV is not chronic, HBV has both chronic and acute but fewer chronic than acute, and HCV has both chronic and acute but more chronic than acute. I'm pretty sure that's not how your liver works. Obviously, things like drugs and alcohol can harm your liver, but the quality of water you drink or whether or not you drink water or some other beverage has no effect. Your liver, just like every other organ in your body, is self-cleaning and self-repairing.
