    Thanks for the update. As a designer/ builder on a 🇨🇦🏝️in the Pacific I look forward to your drone footage as construction progresses. Underground parking is extremely expensive but it could help very slightly.

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад

      I can't see us doing underground parking. There is no parking for fans as such at the ground now either. The Uni next door does provide limited parking for disabled and those who arrive before spaces run out.

    Because normally you have to worry about the owners of a football club as to what they say, versus what they actually do. With rob and ryan, that's not my worry. Remember what I said about the red tape? I will be very pleasantly surprised if they meet that goal and are able to keep that timetable.

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад +2

      I don't doubt for one second we will miss the deadline for the ground and UEFA but I can see why you think we will. We've been messed about for so long with red tape, things cropping up. The council wouldn't dare put a stop on this now, it would have be something really dangerous or urgent to do that.

      @Bootcamp4 16 дней назад +1

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzonethe folks in wrexham & North wales aren’t going to lets people play politics and put red tape in front of Rob & Ryan like they did with the Funding deal if the counsel or welsh government tries it at this point the people of north wales will back Rob & Ryan vs the counsel & Government

      No we won't and there will be hell let lose if something goes wrong now.

    I'm very excited about this project. Do you know of other stadiums that have expanded by replacing individual stands over time? I'm curious to see how those stadiums turned out. Can you provide more details about why they are replacing the pitch? You stated to 'meet international standards' but what are those standards? Great video -- thank you!!

      It has to meet certain measurements and adhere to rules about warming up areas, has to be rectangle, stuff like that. We are also rumoured to be getting heating for it.

    • @BruceMcFarling
      @BruceMcFarling 14 дней назад

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzone Yes, the heating is an essential element for a top tier natural grass pitch, and the role of the new Kop in installing heating seems to be beyond rumor, as Humphrey Ker has noted in one or more public events that the plans to house the equipment to support the installation of subsurface heating inside the New Kop is why they did not install it last summer.

    can't wait for it to start, but reading what they said, it should be completed by 2026 u19 games, and the project said to take around 11 months, would that mean that 25/26 season we would be without a stand at all there?

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад +3

      Once the temp stand is removed the construction will begin and no other stand will be put there until the kop stand is finished. Unless they can free up room elsewhere which I am not sure they can.

    • @michaelpierce9731
      @michaelpierce9731 16 дней назад +1

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzone so basically for the all/most of 25/26 season we going to have reduction in tickets, which means reduction in income, so we might have price increase to tickets or they figure out some other way to make for the loss of income... annoying, but we have to do it I guess

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад +1

      Most of the tickets will be season tickets. The temp stand was for non season ticket holders who could not get tickets. Some tickets do become available in other stands but not on the scale of the temp stand. It will be interesting to see if the amount of tickets available to overseas supporters gets reduced.

    • @BruceMcFarling
      @BruceMcFarling 14 дней назад

      @@michaelpierce9731 Budgeting for the one season loss of ticket revenue may be part of the financing of the New Kop, but it would likely be less than the total ticket revenue of the temp Kop, since a lot of the ticket revenue from the temp Kop went into the costs of putting up (and eventually taking down) the temp Kop.

    🤔🤔Lots of thoughts about this one. Glad to hear the project is going ahead! Hope team management and the council get all the build permits in place before work starts for a change! Also hope any issues with the community around the stadium are dealt with properly. While I get it, not happy to hear about the 17 million tax dollars the government is coughing up for the building projects. Would prefer if they spent government funds on infrastructure around the stadium. To deal with the parking and other issues that will arise from the expanded capacity and use of the stadium. Finally any chance when they are taking down the temporary stands, they can take down that eyesore building on the grounds.😂 My humous way of asking has there been any update on the deal with the University to get that land back? Great update by the way, thanks!👍

      I posted all this info before Christmas and a forum said I'd posted clickbait or nonsense so await their apologies LOL No news on the Student accommodation not officially anyway. I am still convinced they will be on their way out. The infrastructure around the ground will be improved as part of the council's Gateway project. There is no where we can put massive cars park, not near the ground anyway.

      @doberski6855 16 дней назад

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzone That was my thoughts as well thanks to your drone videos of Wrexham. Seems to me that parking and a shuttle bus system will have to created by the council to meet the expanded needs and keep the streets around the stadium clear and for the use of residents.

    Be absolutely amazed if they hit the 2026 deadline lets face it they have already hit numerous snags before even a hole has been dug. 🤞🤞 im wrong but thats a short timeline for the KOP build.

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад +1

      They will hit the deadlines but it will be done with around the clock work I imagine, only stopping for matches. I am 10 mins drive from the ground but the people living in the immediate vicinity will have to be considered. Mold Road, Crispin Lane, the Premier inn will all be wanting silence at 11pm.

    • @srbcf
      @srbcf 16 дней назад +1

      @WrexhamAFCfanzone yeah I can't see the mold road residence will be happy with 24hr construction some are not happy on game days now let alone night time construction 😢

      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  16 дней назад +1

      I am thinking they might have to shut down Crispin Lane. I remember when they built the temporary kop standard that the lorries going in and out of there where massive.

      @WrexhamAFCfanzone well I think the original plan was to redevelope that area as well so you could be right there

      Just thinking but the student accommodation will be subjected to massive amounts of noise. Maybe that will persuade them to move LOL

    Hopefully the club are able to work out something with the university to buy back the land that the flats are on and have the flats moved and/or rebuilt elsewhere. I have a feeling development of the Cae Ras will be much easier if we are able to utilize that section of property again.
