This remix is from a game that I've barely played any of, but so many of the viewers a few livestreams ago insisted I give my take on it! In my personal headcanon, Mr. L still exists deep within the dark realm of Luigi's subconscious because Nastasia's brain-washing never went away at the end of the game.
I don't get how Luigi has anything to do with this, he's Mr. L, not Luigi! You can see Luigi fighting Mr. L in the video

What if, at some point in a new M&L game, Luigi realizes his insecurities, maybe after goofing up somehow, and he's confronted by his darker self, Mr L, who confirms those insecurities, calling him weak and pathetic, saying there's a reason why Mario always leaves him behind, saying it's a wonder why Daisy would even care for him, before Luigi has enough, and battles him in a one on one battle against his inner demons.
It's always hilarious when you're reading the comments and see an argument where someone is insisting that Mr L is Luigi!

Super paper Mario may be the most underrated Nintendo game.

The music too. It isn't that memorible, but I just love it's style and the atmosphere it puts you in, it's like its own style of music, it's weird.

Extremely well done, and captures the "Fantom-esque" personality and delusions afoot with his character!

I don't know why everybody is saying Mr. L is Luigi. You can CLEARLY see Luigi fighting the Brobot in this video. Seriously though, what a baseless theory.
That's...his backstory tho... it's even mentioned in the Japanese super mario comics, where bowser laughs at him for having such a bad disguise.

The melody at the very beginning is amazing, especially once the deep piano comes in. If it's a remix of the first part of the original song (y'know, like everything is besides the Megalo Strike Back), I have no idea how anyone can turn a masterpiece into something even better

A great boss fight with an even greater boss. Though this wonderful idea for an antagonist seemed faultless, you soon heard the music. Everyone was sad, they thought it would be an absolute hit, then came Noteblock.
