I just recieved the same cooler! I love the red! I have used it 2 days now at work. I believe I have put it to the ultimate test! I am a UPS package delivery driver. Where I live outside temperature has been 105 degrees, now in the back of my package truck its roughly 130+ degrees. I work 10-12 hour days. By hour 8 most of the ice is melted.

@@solocupsux The red definitely pops!! I have friends that are UPS drivers. It does get HOT in those trucks for sure.I purchased 2 YETI ICE (freezer packs) .To use in combination with ice.I got what YETI recommended for the Roadie 15.Im on vaca now, found them in sporting good store. When I get home in couple days I’m gona do a test to see if the really help with ice retention.Ill post vid on that. You truly are putting it to the ultimate test !

It annoys me that the roadie 24 didn’t get a valve. I slammed my finger really bad one time trying to empty the ice. Glad they added it to the 15

Nice review. I like that you opened the cooler every so often to check the ice. To me, that simulates more of a real world scenario where I might grab a cold drink every couple of hours at my campsite. A lot of cooler reviews just leave the ice in the cooler for days before the person checks them again.

@@rayrenz3599 thank you very much. I sure appreciate it. And yes, I like to open it up and leave it open for a small bit for that exact reason to simulate what it would really be like when I do take it out and use it to see how it will last thank you so much again.

    Great review.
I think it performed very well, especially considering it's size.
A solid 2 days of usable ice in a real-world scenario , again, in a cooler of of this size, you really can't ask for much more.
One could argue a cheaper cooler could possibly perform similarily, but then you get into build quality, features, longevity, warranty, customer service/ support etc. etc.
I have an orig. Roadie 20 that's been in my boat for going on 15 years, and I have zero complaints with it's 'performance'.
There's a few new 'features' on this Roadie 15 that will probably have me pull the trigger.
I like that it's smaller & lighter, The handle / shoulder strap is much better than the original Roadie 20. And I really like that Yeti made it so that you can use not 1, but 2 of their small baskets up top. All of that really makes the Roadie 15 a very versatile cooler option.
While many will continue to argue about the cost of Yeti products, it really does come down to being high quality products that are 'usually' designed well, perform, and built to last.
If a Yeti item checks off the correct boxes for a persons individual 'needs', than it's money well spent . . . if it's just to blow money on a 'Yet', well that's a different story.
I have no 'need' for any of their larger coolers . . . but their smaller stuff works out very well for me, so I don't mind paying for quality.
I think Yeti did a really good job on this particular model, and I can see them being very popular.
Thanks again for a solid review.

@@acme9538 Thank you so much for watching and kind words.I was hoping for 2 day as you said due to size of cooler and not being able to hold a lot of ice.But it did and then some.My cousin has a Roadie (I think 24) and he uses it on farm .He throws and I mean throws 😂it in back of his truck and heads out to fields.Liint being these things are TOUGH.I think YETI hit a sweet spot with the size on this one.I have the Tundra 65 that I use once or twice a year.Had it for about 12 years now.Use it for camp off the beaten path when we’re gona be out for a 5-7 days.

Do you know if this Yeti roadie 15 cooler leaks water when tipped over. I just bought a yeti roadie 24 leaks water when tipped over which to me I feel like if it leaks water it’s letting heat into the cooler. I paid $250 for the roadie 24 and it’s concerning to me that it doesn’t seal 100%.
