thats a good test! id be curious to see how they work in an oyster tempo that claims to only need ice packs and not any conventional ice

Awesome thanks for doing this video with the Yeti ice and answering my question about if the cooler leaks. I was also curious about if the Yeti ice would work better as well but I’m guessing if it wasn’t as hot as a volcano out during this test vs the last test the ice retention test it would have been relatively the same results if not a little better. My roadie 24 leaks about the same and I get it if it’s for dry ice you need to dissipate some or the air in the cooler but I bet 99.9% of the people using this cooler will never put dry ice in the cooler. Keep up the good work. Thanks again. I also have the 18 oz rambler with the hot shot lid and use it for coffee and that thing keeps it hot for about 8 hours nog that it takes me 8 hours to drink my coffee but I had a few instances when I got to work I didn’t finish the coffee and then getting back I. The car at the end of the day it was still hot hot

@@birdie1497 You’re very welcome. And thank you for the kind words.I anticipated some leakage, but the dry ice makes sense. And I agree with you. I’ve never use dry ice before it may work wonderful but I’ve personally never used it. Also at altitude when we do go to Colorado, letting some air in/out very little, but it does help keep it from pressurizing too much, thank you for the info for the coffee lid. I am drinking a cup as I typed this ha ha. I drink a year but I will definitely keep that into consideration this winter when I do have coffee with me especially at work thank you once again I hope you have a wonderful day.

Could you do a review on boat outfitters YETI side mounted rod holder? I want to see what coolers it fits on and if it would work on the roadie 15.

I operate heavy equipment in the oil field in Alberta, Canada. My wkfe just got me the Roadie 15 fpr my bday today as the ultimate lunch box. I lov3 Yeti so much. Your videos have been really good. I watched qll of them on this cooler today so you get my Sub. From 1 yeti fan to another, if you drink a lot of cans you need to hrab a Yeti coozy for your cans. They are expensive when you buy them but i cant live without it so do yourself a favor ane check one out.✌️

I guess I missed your final result. Is the Yeti ice as good as extra ice for long lasting? Or is extra ice better?

@@joeimbesi5361 Great question! Considering the vast temperature difference.Much hotter conditions when using the YETI ICE. Compared to when i used only ice.The YETI ICE did very well.
Where YETI ICE really seemed to do better is when I’ve had per se 8 cans 4 water , which would be over 1/2 capacity on product .Which means you can only get about 5lb of ice in cooler. The ice retains much longer with the aid of YET ICE over just ice.So to me it was worth the $28 for both.
      Thank you for watching.
