That was a pretty good video, not going to lie! Really helped us learn the game quick so we could play it without having to spend an hour reading the rule book!
Oh man fantastic work as always, and I must say how you chose to break down the rules is brilliant I'm totally stealing your pace when I teach to my lovely wife
I just got my copy in the mail the other day, and for whatever reason I just wasn't wrapping my head around the rules explanation of pressing your luck. Thanks for another great video! Very clear and easy to follow.
First time watching one of your videos, and I have to say your format is clean and easy to understand. Will definitely check out your guides in the future.
Nice video. So much better than the other video I watched. The ordering of this video is spot on, you explain everything and it is explained when it needs to be. I feel I could play this without having to read the rules.
I watched the whole thing, what do I win? Seriously, you are the best teaching channel out there, for boardgames. Do you make videos on how to do at home acupuncture?
@@NightsAroundaTable Both Mystic Vale and Cubitos have push-your-luck systems (and maybe some others, I'm not sure). In Mystic Vale, every card can have a certain number of decay symbols. At the start of each turn, you draw cards from your deck until your cards show a certain number of decay symbols. At that point, you can try to keep drawing cards one at a time, but if any of those cards also have a decay symbol, then you lose your turn and discard all the cards you drew. In Cubitos you have a hand of dice that you roll at the start of every turn. The dice sides can be either hits or misses. When you roll your dice, you add the dice that show hits to your active pool and can re-roll the dice that were misses. But at a certain point, if all the dice you roll on a re-roll are misses, you bust and discard the dice in your active pool.

This was a really excellent teach! I appreciate putting the setup at the end; this makes more sense to me. Thank you so much!
I haven't played this in a while, and I have a session with friends today.
Gotta say, it was an EXCELLENT reminded
Thanks! If i were to play again, i’d need to watch this video too!
Great video! The added effects really add to clarity.

I always enjoy your teaches. They are fun and informative. I just bought this game, so I'm looking forward to playing it once it arrives. Thank you!
Jesus, your rules explanations are amazing! They’re so thorough and thought out!
Thank you! But call me Ryan.
@@NightsAroundaTable 🤣👍
Capitalist skyscraper buidling game, with "sacrifice a worker, I mean, meeple, to gain an effect".
The dark horror game i didn't know I wanted
And at the end, there’s a mini game where a gorilla-shaped Great Old One comes and destroys the city!
Clear instructions, thanks!
No shared victory. The tied players FIGHT!

Thanks so much! i had to take all my at-home acupuncture vids down for… legal reasons.
John D Clair certainly loves push-your-luck systems
Great video, BTW!
i haven’t played all of his stuff. Where else does he use it? Mystic Vale?

Thanks amazing explanation!🎉

Why do they make these game pieces so tiny! I have large hands and this looks like a stacking nightmare.
It wasn't too bad, but there's definite table shake danger.
