(മേടിക്കാനുള്ള ത്രാണി ഒന്നും ഇല്ല, അത്ര തന്നെ 😊) Anyway thanks for this detailed video.
Amazing post! 35 minutes of meticulously researched, well organised & presented content. Quality of the content is such that it should be archived at Suzuki for their future reference. Never have I ever come across such finitely detailed presentation about Gypsy. Thank you for posting.
Quality content making, again you guy’s are proving.. no heavy background musics, no heavy video transition effects.. only cars..This is what we are looking for.. keep going JD❤
JD loved your presentation. for a car enthusiast as me, a non non sense presentation no jarring music, no funky editing... and especially your love towards true classics is a hats off from me. awaiting more such videos.
The Marlboro livery yellow Gypsy from the movie Highway.. one look at it and I was in love. I must say, you have exceeded the already high standard that we have come to expect for you. Great job.👍
Always happy to see a bone stock MG413W. This one particularly as it still retains the Maruti Udyog emblem and 'MARUTI' lettering on the bonnet. Most people swap the Maruti emblem with Suzuki emblem of old gen 1 WagonR / Zen. IIRC, Gypsy was the only MS car which retained the Maruti Udyog emblem right untill it's production ended in 2022.
The content is so fresh and I bet you can never find the details JD explains anywhere... So technical and supremely engaging.. Superb video edits and love the way it's RAW..
Finally found you. I loved talkingcars. The KA12 registration brings back old memories. Coorg had a lot of cars with engine swaps back in the 90s. We had a Mark IV Ambassador with kitted with Nissan engine back then.
Wooww❤❤as you said....the dream vehicle of every 90's kid.... I love this g13b series engine... I own an Esteem currently with the same engine spec... that is a really peppy one... Love to see a beautiful show of gypsy❤
There used to be a channel called petrolicious..one of their most popular videos is that of a 250GTO. Their videos are known for their aesthetics. They're focused on being classy. Yet they bring the true emotion of driving the cars and the car ownership to the forefront. Your videos just reminded me of them. Your videos have the same quality.
I am not sure, what went wrong between you guys. But it's one of the biggest losses that malayali auto enthusiasts has experienced. Coming to this video and overall JD's way of presenting things, I really enjoy watching your videos. Even though I am not a classic car fan, I enjoy the way you put together things and emphasize the micro details of cool little quirks and features. I am more of a technical person and like the kind of content that Vivekji makes but somehow I am gravitating towards your videos. I must say the videos are also much better, the locations are nice, the sound is also good, no more fiddling with GoPro's. Awesome work JD, looking for more content and all the very best 👍
Always loved to own one, have enjoyed the old rally posters of Gypsy, cameo appearances in movies, Oldest memories of Gypsy is that my dad driving his company gypsy, peeping into the cabin to see what's inside, and wondering why it had two gear levers😅 later all of them got phased out by Bolero because SI engines were banned from Oil Refinery usage. Also, you could see a lot of them near our kochi Naval base. I've lived near the Camp area of Maratha LI Belgaum, it was fun to watch the green military ones. And there were some neatly painted green ones, which i guess senior officers might be using.
• Well organized Presentation 👍🏻 • Attention to detail is at top notch ✌🏻 • Research level is highly appreciable 🙏🏻 & The man who behind the lens 💪🏻 • Stunning frames bro 🔥🔥 Altogether , kidilam aashane 👍🏻❣️
As always loved the video. As I recognised this video was shot at Kottayam my home town it adds a pinch of happiness more and I liked the F1 tyre spec tshirt you are wearing.
Great video JD! I'll never look at a Gypsy the same way, always admired them but now with better appreciation. Kudos to the owner Rubin (sorry if I misspelt) for keeping it in stock. I have an Alto, aim is to keep it in stock for a long time and this is an inspiration. PS: Love the t-shirt. Link undo? 😬
Bro you are a true jem ❤ you are very passionate about what u are doing. That's very clear in your each and every word you tell Your bonding with cars You make things exciting Thank you very much bro keep on doing
My father used to have a gypsy king 1.3 carb when I was a child. My initial memories with a car was with that gypsy. It was really painful for me when it was sold . I always dream of owning a gypsy and I will buy it one day
Lovely video ! I am a recent convert, and have started loving the simple nature of this one. Nice to drive, dont have to care much. Main point is - understand what it is, and enjoy it for what it is. It's beauty is in it's simplicity. ( I dont understand Malayalam, but still got what you were saying. And I watched the full video :) )
Brother, Splendor bike nte history and legacy ne patti oru video cheyyane!! Love the quality and the colour grading of your videos. And love your history notes too! Keep going
Wow Very very good presentation....well researched, and also excellent framing. Gypsy is an old car but your presentation and frames makes it golden... All the very best sir 👍 🤝
OMG!!!! U Visited Kottayam to do this... didn't know that...!!!😢 I really wanna meet you in person..missed it...when wille be the next time you would visit this same place, may I know that...!
Fun Fact :- Just like how Gypsy was a renamed Jimny. The Esteem & 1000 were renamed Swift sedan aka cultus or dzire in other parts, it's 2nd gen was launched with its original Swift name in India. Btw, the 2nd gen looked far worser & bulky as per me, much unlike the hatch counterpart which always remained pretty & sharp looking until the 4th gen came.
If there is any problem between Vivek and JD.. please come to a compramise.... actually we need Talking Cars back rather two channels,Had a lot of fun watching both talking in a single frame...I liked the way both of them respectfully handled the situation of seperation..That's make you both different from other volggers...***""So please COME BACK!!!!! Together
Your content is very simple but really informative.. Accurately pinpoints to very small details.. keep going.. Btw, the undisclosed location isn't the outskirts of Kottayam..?
It seems that Baijunair and Jayd share a common trait of speaking their minds.they just say whatever comes in their mind. The difference between them is that I'm just watching Jayd's videos and feeling bad for Baiju for not doing his homework and saying some nonsense that turned into the same review for every car.
Ones just been a collector who's been collecting and restoring cars for over half decade for his personal satisfaction. This naturally made him an encyclopedia. Never took even a photo 😅 and when finally stood in front of a camera, he just can't stop talking 😅
BTW great job on your DOP!. I respectfully disagree with the majority of our community's opinion on not improving the visual quality. I experience greater happiness when I view standard content presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
amazing content! really informative! It would have been great if you could have talked a bit about old markets of Gypsy in Delhi and Punjab. Someone who is considering buying old Gypsy these places are a good place to start the hunt . Maybe its available in south as well but not that familiar.
Another maruti that has great influence in the history of Indian motoring industry..The mountain goat..The vehicle that served Indian army for 30 long years..Still nothing to replace the legend..
I don't know, who your DOP is. But he has a great aesthetic sense. Stunning frames in all of your videos.
But a little too 'mexican-y'?
