- A complete guide for how to beat all of the Castle Boss fights (no damage) in New Super Mario Bros. 2 (NSMB2) for the Nintendo 3DS. The castle bosses are pretty typical of the NSMB series and include Morton, Larry, Wendy, Iggy, Roy, Lemmy, and Ludwig, as well as Bowser and Dry Bowser. Here are the times for each boss fight. @@foursidekmYeah, but NSMB2 has Dry Bowser which SMW doesn’t have. SMW also has Big Boo as a exclusive boss.
Bowser is such a nice guy. Not only does he repeatedly let Mario burn the flesh off his bones by dunking him in liquid magma, he puts a bow on Peach's cage and goes go-karting with him afterwards.
Mario is actually a millionaire that staged the whole kidnapping by paying bowser so he can rescue the princess and win her heart.
So how badly friend-zoned is Mario, then, if he's rescued her 46 times and the best he gets is a kiss on the cheek?

Well, the Mushroom and Flower worlds technically are playable before world 6 so you could say Bowser is actually in the 8th world.

It's actually VERY hard to jump on the Koopalings' heads at the exact moment that they pop out of their shell. Also, the Koopalings have more personality than the NSMB DS bosses.

tbh bosses that screw themselves over are actually smart in my mind, because maybe they know that getting mind controlled is a possibility, so they want their minions to have a way of killing them in that case.
Its because Bowser presses the button when Mario is on the bridge, but he stands on the bridge because he has no where to hide

Is that it? Its ridiculously easy. The boss battles are all the same except for the final. No special moves or anything, just their wand and some spinning around with their shell. Roy and Morton and maybe Ludwig would be the tank ones that so much as drop from a little higher altitude would stun you like crazy and then shoot you or jump on you.

The terrain while fighting those two wasnt straight, it had like little hills, and everytime they would go up one or down they would stun you continuously. After that shoot you or touch you or touch you.

Anything that has "New" in the name at Nintendo doesn't have any challenge in it.
Just look at Super Mario world, which this very game was supposedly based off of. Even a decade later, it's still superior, despite the aged graphics.

if you want to play as Luigi in Mario Bros 2 for 3ds then you need to Beat Bowser once then go into the file section and Hold L+R while choosing a file with a Star Then u unlocked him

Grafica magnifica e facilita' inaudita... vedo anche che non rispettano molto le abilita dei mostri old school, il chomp-chomp dopo che si è fermato parte nella direzione giusta in cui è il nemico...mentre qui segue uno schema logico intuibile e facilmente agirabile.
Potrei finire questo gioco il giorno stesso che ci gioco la prima volta...questo va bene per i nabbi che non riuscivano a finire i vecchi Super Mario, o per i vecchietti senza riflessi.
Purtroppo sono cambiati i tempi, oggi i giochi sono molto piu commerciali, una volta si puntava a fare il gioco super bello e si guardavano gli incassi, poi quando hanno capito che basta la fama o qualche trucco per farti restare davanti allo schermo, hanno cambiato filosofia.
Diciamo anche che lo stesso autore di Mario, non voleva fare neanche Super mario bros 2, ne hanno fatti una ventina adesso xD, credo che in questi ultimi, non ci sia neanche lo zampino di Miyamoto
It sucks seeing such negative comments here and there. Let's just enjoy the old and new games, instead of fighting what's better, harder, ETC. I love modern Mario, 3D World being my favorite. I truly wish people could just enjoy the games for what they have, instead of nitpicking at negatives and always being such downers. :p

Dry Bowser is the version of Bowser when he dies in New Super Mario Bros DS. Bowser gets burned and dies one of the world's. Honestly, he's just an awesome re-skin of Bowser.

The boss fights in this game are pretty damn lame for the most part. I will give credit to Morton Jr. and Ludwig for actually having farly creative battles, but the rest of them are either uninspired, or just shamelessly rehashed from NSMB Wii. The Bowser fight in particular is pitful. It's just a much easier and more boring version of NSMB Wii's final boss, with none of the wow factor that it had, not to mention that it's needlessly drawn-out. Also, Dry Bowser was completely pointless here. It's literally the exact same fight as with Bowser, except with blue fire.
