  • The clinical menu in CPAP machines is a set of advanced settings and features that are usually only accessible by healthcare professionals, such as sleep physicians or respiratory therapists. These settings allow for more personalized and precise adjustments to the therapy, tailored to the patient's needs.
The clinical menu typically includes features such as:
Ramp Time: Allows users to gradually adjust to the prescribed pressure over a period of time, usually in 5-45 minute increments.
Pressure Relief: Provides a drop in pressure during exhalation, making it easier for users to exhale against the pressure.
Mask Fit Check: Helps ensure a proper seal between the mask and the user's face, reducing the risk of air leaks.
Humidification: Allows users to adjust the level of humidity in the air, helping to reduce dryness or irritation in the nose and throat.
Compliance Data: Records the user's nightly usage, providing feedback to healthcare providers to ensure proper usage and therapy effectiveness.
Advanced Pressure Settings: Allows healthcare professionals to adjust pressure settings, such as minimum and maximum pressures, to better treat the user's sleep apnea.
It is important to note that access to the clinical menu should only be done by a healthcare professional, as making changes to the settings without proper training or guidance can potentially compromise the effectiveness of the therapy.

Thank you, thank you. My titration rate went from 12 to 8 and I do not have my new cpap yet. I adjusted my old machine to 8.

Had an error 010 for a air flow sensor that would not work in auto mode. Switched to cpap mode with a set pressure. Works like a charm. Thank you

I live in a cold climate and during the winter months, the air is too cold for me and it wakes me up often during the night. How can I increase the heat level on an Airsense 11?

Odd question. Is there a reason my husband’s doesn’t have the “auto set” option? Going to reach out to the company. But I work 3rd shift so I don’t feel comfortable manually adjusting it and leaving him home alone. Hoping this would be quicker than the 3 to 5 business days, they’ll take.

Hi there, Yes there is. This tutorial applies to the AirSense 10 AutoSet machine. This machine looks exactly the same as the AirSense 10 CPAP machine also referred to the AirSense 10 Elite. If you do not see the option for Autoset, then you probably just have the CPAP only version.

Talk too fast for this 80 year old. Have to adjust myself because the docs here think they are some sort of control god making us wait 18- 24 months to be reassessed. After 30 + years of using one I know when I need a slight nudge up. Thanks and SLOW DOWN PLEASE.

SLOW DOWN! You talk 90MPH. Hard to understand.

Hi Roger! If it helps, RUclips has a setting built-in to increase or decrease the speed of a video. You'll find it under Settings (the gear icon) > Playback Speed. You can set any video to go as slow as 0.25x and as fast as 2x. Hope this helps!
