- Creating copilots has never been easier. Get started with creating copilots in Microsoft Copilot Studio with this tutorial for beginners. Learn how to create your own copilots using a graphical low-code tool for creating and maintaining copilots. With the latest Copilot Studio updates, we can now design and test copilots using a new conversationally driven experience. Simply describe your copilot's tasks and knowledge (websites, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Dataverse, etc.) and let Copilot Studio do the rest.
Connect all your enterprise data with Copilot thanks to Copilot connectors - enabling anyone to ground their copilot in business and collaboration data. This makes it possible for copilots to use various data sources, including public websites, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Dataverse tables, Microsoft Fabric OneLake, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, APIs and more.
Finally, publish your copilot live in just a few clicks and make it available to your end users.

This is truly revolutionary!!! Another level as compared to the previous Co-pilot Studio. I look forward to getting my hands dirty. Thanks for Sharing.
Awesome! Definitely give it a try.
As always, great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
very interesting, thank you!
Most welcome
Another awesome video Reza
Thanks so much
Thank you Reza. Can you add/embed/make use of these custom copilots within PowerApps?
Yes, the copilot control in power apps allows you to use these copilots.
It was Great!!! Thank you for sharing this....
Most welcome
Hi Reza! Thank you very much for your videos, I always learn a lot. I need to build a simple app for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments between new patients and doctors. Do you have any videos similar to this structure? Thank you very much.
Most welcome!
I do not have a video reference on the structure mentioned. I will recommend checking or posting your query on forums in case someone has done something similar powerusers.microsoft.com
Great review!🤖
Thanks!
Great video! does it consider all documents in SharePoint that are being continuously updated or only from the point in time when you connect it?
Constantly uploaded. It uses graph api to get the data.
Great video as always Reza! Is there a way to customize the look and feel of the deployed chatbot/copilot to match the org theme with specific colors?

@@RezaDorrani Thanks a bunch. This along with some custom coding on my part helped
Hooray 🎉. I've been waiting for this. Is Copilot Studio premium licensing, or does it depend on the data connectors you use, the user the license it is built with, or both? What happens to the copilot if the alotted "calls" hits the maximum messages for a standard license?
Copilot studio licensing is based on capacity (tenant license) and then user licenses which allow to build.
Check t.co/rnzinlnAXT
Excellent information Reza, Microsoft have definitely improved the tool.
I have a question... when it is published in Teams, in addition to the message and the response appearing on the screen, the message/response alert appears, can this be changed or deleted?
Sorry I did not understand the question on message/response alert. Can you point to time in video where this appears.
Hi Reza- This was truly an amazing concept video.
I have a question- I am trying to build a custom copilot which will be like acting as a bot. The data source I have is an Excel sheet. When I test run the answers for some of the records are fine but for some of them it doesn't show any results. Also, there is no error with the data source. Any tips how can I fix this?
Thank you
I have not experienced the mentioned issue and hence not sure what the cause for it could be.
I will recommend posting your issue on forums in case someone has experienced something similar powerusers.microsoft.com
Thanks for your video, dynamic chaining feature is merged into any other feature , or it available for any version of copilot. Also do some more videos with integration
I think I did show in video how to enable it for copilot.
I will plan more video in future.
@@RezaDorrani in some videos, they show dynamic linking feature. So please clarify on it by new video
@@balajimogadali I dont know which are these some videos. Dynamic chaining is now a native feature as shown in this video.
I haven’t played with this before, is the copilot always an external web page? If so is there a way to add this to a SharePoint page or do you have to embed the Link as an external page?
The copilots have authentication that can be set anonymous or entra based. Most knowledge sources require authentication.
For SharePoint, you can embed it as external page.
Is it possible to connect the various input source e.g. multiple DBs, wikipages, docs at the same time and when asked question generate the input from all these sources?
I believe it does look up data from multiple sources
does that search also in ms llists records in my sharepoint hust it does in dataverse?
It can search in sp libs but not lists. You could call flow to query sp search api for your scenario.
Hi Reza, thank you for your video. Is it possible to implement a timeout that for example after 5 minutes of no user input it asks the user something like "are you still there", and if no response to that it ends the conversation?
Hi Denis, I am not sure if that is an option
Hey Reza Is it possible to connect an SQL database with Copilot and ask random questions about the database?
Should be possible but not something I have tried. I will recommend checking or posting your query on forums in case someone has done something similar powerusers.microsoft.com
@@RezaDorrani Thanks for your reply
Please make more videos on Copilot studio and its integration with CRM platforms like D-365
I do have plans for more videos
Hi, one more great video. But a question regarding license. As a developer I need a CoPilot license but will all users consumimg the app also need a license??
End users do not
@@RezaDorrani Thanks for quick respons
hi thanks for sharing the vedio, i am trying to create a copilot based on the data in excel file , however copilot could not give any answers based on that. web based copilot worked well with me. can i know why?
How did you ground excel data in copilot?
@@RezaDorrani Thanks for your support!!!!! i have an org level data in excel file with Precise headers, in copilot studio i created a chatbot and uploaded the file and published it after one day of time, i tried questioning the bot using the exact same column header,s but bot always respond a sorry message, that it is not able to understand.
@@jyothimenon8251 Im not sure about why that would be the case.
Have you faces inconsistent issue in term of when you ask same question based on uploaded document, It will give wrong answers at times. or incomplete information.

How we can use variables created in the topic as part of automate approval details,
So approver can see the details against the selected variables and approve/Reject accordinfly.

Hi Reza, I have created a customer CP and added it to a solution (Model-Driven) in PA. How does a Maker expose this customer CP in the app? Can this be done ATM?
I believe you can probably add it as an side loaded in a panel or similar. Not something I have tried though.
@@RezaDorrani Thanks for the update. It sounds like we have no OOTB No-code methods for this yet.
@@JohnAckery I guess no
@@RezaDorrani , MS still has lots of work to do here. FYI, I have built a custom CP with all the new features in CP Studio. I can see it in my model-driven PA Solution, BUT I don't seem to have any option to leverage it in the published app.
@@JohnAckery ok
How do I connect it to my database?
I show how to connect to Dataverse (database)
Anyone face issue with inconsistent answer, when i use openai chatgpt personal assistant it will give full answer. When i use copilot studio its like hit and miss answer. Sometimes it retrieves wrong information, sometimes it will give half of the information. This is based on internal uploaded document or connection to sharepoint online.
Check documentation of internal document upload feature to see its limitations. Also I will recommend posting your query on forums in case someone has experienced something similar powerusers.microsoft.com
I've seen this, the inconsistency is what's holding me back from implementing right now
Im getting error massage while using patch function. " Network error when using patch function : The request operation is invalid"

So, co-pilot allows you to take data from public web sites.
Those web sites which depend on visits from actual people are going to be... what's the technical term... oh, yes: screwed ☹
Great question - That’s why there are DLP policies that can be applied + admin can block publishing of bots with public websites.
@@RezaDorrani Thanks. I assume the admin you refer to is the co-pilot admin. Can you create a video demonstrating that - and showing what MS Licence is required?
@@chap666ish Its ur power platform admin or environment admin. Documentation has all the details.
Anybody else run into inconsistent answers that miss conversation history context? Like you can ask a question that retrieves the right answer and document source, but when you ask a follow up it does not realize you are asking about the answer itself?
