It's second for me... just sneaking up on SCG's Commander Versus lmao. I think my ranking went up for them this past week because they played my Jeskai Reanimator deck this week on the show lol

We've all been there, in the "I should've just sacrificed my creature to avoid Gilded Drake shenanigans" position. It's odd that as people reach higher and higher towards that skill ceiling, they sometimes forget the simpler answers. But it's all good.
I know I forgot about it, as well.
Tyler did my boy Kermit so dirty, lol. I played Kermit in a cedh pod last night for the first time. It grinds so well. You generate enough value to hammer in the midgame and it plays through removal and stax very well.

The moment I saw Toxrill, I knew he would push Kels out as a commander. The extra 3 might seem like a lot, but the huge impact that a close to elesh norn in Dimir is huge. Toxril destroys Yuriko, it destroys Winota, it destroys Thrasios or any commanders that want to stick. If your commander or creatures don't win the second it goes down, winning under a Torxil is almost impossible. Even if he didn't win this game, I think he's stronger then Grolnok.
If you can survivor the huge amount of hate he draws then yeah
Also destroys Najeela. As long as he's on board, all of the Najeela lines are turned off. And it takes only 1 turn to wipe out all your warriors!

Y'all have entirely too much fun, and it's so refreshing! I'm so glad I joined the Patreon to join the Discord! The cEDH community is something so new to me. I've been competitive towards myself my whole life, but never found much fun in being competitive with/against other people until I started playing cEDH. When the game is over super quick, it's "let's shuffle up and play again." When the games go long, I get to see new avenues of play I had never thought of. Thank you for all you guys do, and can't wait to build my next deck!

The production quality and time you spend really shows in your videos compared to other channels I've come across. I really appreciate the public deck lists you guys maintain also. Top notch!
Bought a single collector's pack, pulled a Toxrill foil showcase. Although I don't think he's quite cEDH, he's high-power. Definitely a kill on sight commander.

Hey Cam I know it didn't matter but you could have cast entomb from your graveyard to get animate dead then used the underworld breach to cast it. Would have saved 3 mana or so.
As much as I love the Gorger combo, it does have that massive weakness, if it gets interrupted once, you can pretty much scoop and get ready for your next game.

Just a small note, Nate should have milled on his upkeeps with Old Rutsien. He missed them in game one
I've been getting more and more into competetive magic and even built my own version of Jeska/Ishai after finding your channel and my play group is scared of it. Absolutely my favorite deck, all I need is a Lion's Eye and it'll complete! Keep it up guys.

I have a question and I'm hoping someone can enlighten me; was Dylan not able to play Toxrill @ 11:37 and tutor for Force of Negation instead of the Toxic Deluge? I feel that would've been the better play as all the slugs would've come back on his side at the end of his turn and he'd be back on pressing Tyler instead of just clearing the board. Either way, loved the game guys, keep it up! That WGD snipe was brutal to watch lol

How often do you restock your skull playmats? They're awesome and I'd love to pick one up. I've been checking everyday for about 2 or 3 weeks now. Best looking playmat I've seen in years.
Y'all are the best cedh channel by far. Only MtG channel I like better is Magic Arcanum. If y'all had a Mustache Minute every now and then you would probably overtake Ryan and and Nicole.
Seeing this makes me really want to build a Toxrill deck! Here is a quick question..have yall considered trying a high power build around Runo?
Toxrill sure is a powerhouse agaist decks that require some sort of creature based boardstate.
It can nicely fit into reanimation strategies that lack white for Elesh Norn as the sweeper of choice.
I appreciate future-future Dylan recognizing the sac Toxril line. Lol

Minor Note: on Tyler's turn 2 endstep for game 1, grolnok and old runstein should've died because they still have combat damage marked on them

Since Mesmeric Orb is in the Grolnok deck, why not play Basalt Monolith? It's not the best but kinda reasonable on it's own and Frog+Orb+Monolith will exile all your permanents with croak counters, seems like a good secondary combo without a huge deckbuilding cost. I personally would probably cut either the Talisman or the Wild Growth for it.
I just wish we got to see the kormusborg combo this game.

Made a Toxrill deck recently, not cedh so there's only one feasible line for a turn 2 Toxrill. God he's cool!
A 1 drop creature, then culling the weak and dark ritual turn 2. Otherwise it's dark ritual, sol ring and three 2 mana rocks turn 1, turn 2 land lol
The Mystique Phantasmal Token was honestly my favorite part. The decks are great but that token rocked. Kinda sad Rutstein didn't get to do anything.

Cam, could you have cast the Jeska’s Will and had enough mana to recast Anje after sacking it to Diabolical Intent? This might have left you enough mana/cards in graveyard to Entomb for Deflecting Swat for the Slaughter Pact.
my problem with the new Anje is that it's literally a worse Worldgorger combo commander where you could run HER new version in the 99 but why would you when the OG Anje basically allows you to mill your library to either Cut/Ribbons in graveyard, Comet Storm, or Avycn's Judgement from which you would just win the game. Also, because of how fragile the combo is you need to make sure you have "protection" whether it be a Defense Grid or access to Deflecting Swat or something.

Can someone explain me why Dragon exiled and didn't return all the staff?
The dragon's etb trigger was still on the stack when slaughter pact was cast, so it's ltb went on the stack and actually triggered before anything was exiled. So he returned things from exile first (which was nothing) then he exiled everything.
I think due to the dragon being removed before its first effect did anything, the effect that brings back the cards resolved before the effect that exiles the cards and therefore there was nothing left that could bring them back after they are actually gone.

can someone explain to me how slaughter pact broke the world gorger combo? im sure i missed something
Exile trigger goes on the stack, but before it resolves WGD is destroyed by the pact. So the 'return your things from exile' trigger goes on the stack and resolves first. Then the exile trigger resolves, with no way to get things back again.

instead of tutoring for the toxic deluge, why didn't you tutor for mana to play toxrill and kill all the 1/1s and get a bunch of 1/1s from it as blockers?

Everyone can play their commander on turn 2 as long as you have 4 of the 12 mana rocks in your opening hand
Gilded drake would be 100% banned if it's not on the reserve list. But because it's so expensive, almost no one plays it, and they don't experience the frustrating play pattern.
Spoilers.
If Cam had played an dockside combo instead of WGD first game he could had won right there.
