Thanks, your video alerted me to the bad Magnetic Strip Sensor Ring issues. I have a 2015 Impala Limited with 95 K. When I back out and turn Left, or brake into a left turn, the Service Stabilitrac and ABS comes on with power reduction. I usually feel a snagging in I think the left front hub. The f'n Used Ford dealer I bought it from's mechanic told me it was a Wheel Bearing issue, but he never did fix it right. I have a feeling it is a bad L front circular Magnetic Strip Sensor Ring you mention above. I have managed to keep driving by stopping and parking, and doing a restart, which would clear the Traction Control lights, and probably dislodge the strip when a stopped and parked it. Now It's gotten worse, and I can't get the lights to turn off. ****If the Magnetic Strip Sensor Ring is bad, can it be replaced alone, or does the whole hub assembly have to be replaced?
The Whole Hub Bud, Given what climate you live in (Me Michigan) Salt and Corrosion plays hell on these.. The Salt finds its way in between the hub and magnetic ring and blows it apart or separates the magnetic ring from the hub and it shatters and is why alot of people say the “Sensor”is bad 9-10 it’s not the sensor.. You can clean the sensor with brake cleaner and re-use Be certain to remove sensor before pulling hub so no damage occurs to sensor
Hey me again bud. Appreciate ya helping out last time. How do you reset the abs light? And according to the AutoZone fella it takes 30 "cycles" to reset the computer to turn off the stabilitrack/and warning
@@l.o.s.nostress713 Check up higher after Sensor connector and check for scraped sensor wire.. OR Unplug Sensor and make sure it has a good connection maybe somehow it got moisture up inside connector and is causing high resistance which will trigger low voltage
Jason Lee Hey Jason, Yes but there are 5 bolts total (2) more on bottom of intake you must access from under the car.. No more issues with hesitation also what I call the “Golf Cart Option”Works like it should (Engine shuts off when you come to a traffic light and restarts when you press gas)
I have 2014 malibu Lt. Same problem from last video. I took to the dealership and they fix.. then months later problem came back. You know🤔.. I think it's time for me to get a new car..
Normal Port, But your reader must be able to access your ABS System If it doesn’t say “Reads ABS”You will meed one that does. Hope this Helps. Also the reader will only tell you which wheel the Fault is coming from

It looks like you broke it to justify the job....there is no way that those pieces are going to hang around when they come off. Typical mechanic scams. It was probably just the sensor...but not anymore.

Dude , I ASSURE you I took that bearing off the car AFTER I pulled the ABS Sensor out and shined my light in the hole and I could See the Fragments of the Eluctor Ring blocking the hole after pulling out sensor! I’m NOT an ASE Mechanic, I AM however an Honest Guy that has been under a hood of a car since I was 10 yrs old.. And by the way there IS a way they came out like that Because THEY DID!!
Also I didn’t have an Extra $145 to Blow on a damn Bearing AND the broken eluctor ring CANNOT get out out of the bearing no matter How Many pieces there are... Go Find Somewhere else to Troll.. You OBVIOUSLY know nothing about mechanicals of a vehicle

On my reader (Zurich, from Harbor Freight) I could clear ABS Faults.
I’m not sure otherwise..Unless Autozone Guy can clear it ?
I bought the same scanner u got and code comes up left rear speed sensor so I replaced the speed sensor and both rear hubs and lights don’t cut off
Hook up reader again and clear codes.. See if they come back, If they do, Do another scan
Normally the ABS light will go out.. but, The code is still locked in even though you remedied the issue, Go in your reader and erase codes

Your previous video where the intake was loose, did tightening the three bolts solve your reduced engine power problem?
