I see you stopped at Hartside Pass on the way back down. The back road you took to get there is one of my favourite local driving roads in my Megane RS, barely a straight to be seen. Great video, don't fancy that outside bathroom this time of year though 😅

Hmmm...somehow me thinks the GR Yaris would've been the car for this trip! But great video, thanks very much. Am thinking about 4 weeks in the Sth Is of NZ middle of next winter (August) so might look at doing this.

The 5 door hatch is longer than the 3 door counterpart (unlike the fez). In comparison, ours feels heavy and a bit fat. The 2.0 engine in the cooper is brilliant. Incredibly efficient and powerful. The MINI feels more premium, despite costing a similar amount and it doesn’t suffer from the boy racer image. From a drivers perspective, the fiesta wipes the floor.
A 3 door pre-opf jcw with pro exhaust is enough to turn my worst day around
