Basic maths is the maths in which questions come straight out of the book or similar to the book(in exams). While in standard maths some questions are from the book but some are out of the book and they are a little complicated to solve. For example in basic maths your can score 80-90 but if this is your score in basic, than in standards you’ll score around 50-60. If you are choosing a stream in 11th which includes maths than you have to go for standard maths but if you choose a stream which excludes maths than basic is good for you. If you choose basic than you can’t keep maths in 11th.
