@user-kz6nu8jz5b I thought about filming me moving from the bed to the toilet and back again to show the maneuvering that needs to be done to do it, but the video was already too long. 😅 It did take a fair amount of leg muscle to do, but it's definitely manageable. Maybe I'll film it (with my pants on, of course) for a vlog. :)
This video is what made me hit the subscribe button. Thank you for your candor, your humor, the truth (I'm a big girl too!) And just being so gosh-darned authentic!!
Great review and adds a safety level that you don’t need to leave your vehicle at night or if you feel unsafe. I think the manufacturer should pay you as a sponsor!
The condensation is only water. I’ve seen survival shows that actually design urine stills to get drinkable water when no water is available. Bear Grylls did that on one episode of his “Man vs. Wild” show. So, you don’t have to worry about it. Just wipe it off with a paper towel or tissue. Love your videos! You have a great sense of humor!
I have this exact toilet and know the peedensation you are talking about 😂. As you were talking about the plastic cover to catch the peedensation, it hit me. The Dollar Tree sells multi packs of shower caps. I bet a shower cap would fit over the catch bowl!!!! I'm gonna try it. I always have Dollar Tree shower caps in my van because they make great bowl or or plate or small pan covers for leftovers
I hope you still read your comments when your videos are 'older". some of your subscribers can't watch all the videos everyday. #1 thank you for this review. I am a tent camper and I am actually older than you but have the same body shape. I have used the Lug a Loo, and it is fine, used it for 5 years now. But I have also have a Pankay, while it folds down great for travel, at first glance it doesn't seem like it will hold "our weight class". But it does!. Midnight pee runs are an issue that is why I always have it in my sleeping tent and not out in a separate Potty tent. and the condensation happens with all of them. I use a hand towel to block it and then it gets washed with my other things as needed. #2 thank you for explaining anatomy. I don't think people in general understand the different shapes WOMEN can be. Just like men there are bigger & shorter & wider and flaps of skin/flesh that cause different spraying problems. You did a great job of trying to be delicate but informative. #3 using it as a table. . . totally get that. Van life - tent life you quickly learn to accept the human condition in all it's forms. Good On Ya Girl!
Absolutely! It's super important to me to read and respond to every comment (except mean people), no matter when someone watches the video. I'm so freaking grateful you're here! Sometimes it can take me a while to get to all the comments cause my brain only functions in spurts. But I'll definitely always get there. ❤️ Good to know the Pankay can hold us. I'll have to look it up. :) Good idea using the hand towel for condensation. I've started using a puppy pad, but a hand towel would be cheaper. I'll have to give that a try. You're so right about women's anatomy. someone else called theirs a sprinkler and that sounds about right! 🤣 And no doubt about vanlife forcing you to face the human condition! There's a primitiveness about it, which is part of why I like it. :)
For smell and stains, I'm a fan of a product called BioKleen. It's for pet smells and it not a stinky chemical. I have a 5 gallon bucket, and it's just too large. However, in times where it's hard to find a place to properly dispose, the large size is better. Keeping pine pellets under the bagged area will keep things dryer. If the bucket catcher part were longer, it would be better, I think so anyway. Thank you so much! You are amazing!
No worries about urine getting on the lid, except for the odor. Science fact: Urine is actually sterilewhen leaving your body. Not so with stool obviously. Love your vids!
I have just watched all your videos and just LOVE you!!! You are wonderful. I feel that since your counseling didn't seem to help you at the time, it was a stepping stone for you. It got you to this point in your life and God is taking care of you. You are wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us.
This is the second video I’ve seen of yours! The first one was your overall introduction to van life after being in your van for 2 weeks (I think) and not having filmed any of it. I love the energy you bring to your videos and i think, for anyone who watches your videos will find them, not just helpful, but inspiring and supportive. Definitely a self starter for some looking into van living for whatever reason. Thank you.
Excellent explanation! You are extremely talented. I mean that, I believe with all my heart the Lord has big plans for you on RUclips and other fields. Girl you are awesome!
I have a five gallon bucket with two bricks in the bottom that support a 2.5 gal bucket, holding it up to just below the rim of the five gallon. I put a trash bag over the smaller bucket, drop it in the large bucket, i installed cabinet hardware to the outside of the large bucket and the other half to the bottom of a padded toilet seat. Works great. The added benefit is the bricks keep the bucket where i put it, even when i have had to slam on my breaks.
Maybe you can cut the bucket about 3/4 up (sand down the rim). This will allow the bag to expand more. Also, the dollar tree has condensation cups that perhaps you can put on bottom or some rice in a sock. Then if you need rice later…hahahaha. Love your honest contents and how budget friendly you are. Not everyone needs all the hoot and whistles of nomad/vanlife. Keep it coming girlfriend!!!
I'm a guy, so I use a big gulp cup for pee. I use a 5 gal bucket to poo with double bag. I bought a regular round toilet seat made of thick material (also the cheapest) and traced the shape of the bucket on the bottom and put 4 screws outside of that line to keep the seat centered. I bag it each time and put that in another bucket outside. No pew pew in my trailer.
Yep, peedentation is pure distilled water. Its actually a method of survival skill when a hole is dug, urinate in the hole, place a clean cup in the bottom of the hole and cover with plastic that drains the distilled water moisture into the cup. Now you know how to create drinking water in a survival situation👍
Thank you for this review! I'm a big gal too and I worry about those cute little folding toilets. No way they would hold me. Run to the pet store and get two things: puppy pads and enzymatic cleaner. Put a puppy pad in the bottom to catch spills and tape another inside the lid to soak up that condensation! Dollr Tree also sells them so they should be fairly inexpensive to replace as needed. If you get the XL ones you could stretch your money and cut them to size. The enzymatic cleaner (in wipe or spray form) is for puppy potty training accidents so it will take that pee smell right out! One other thing I would do is a get a chair cushion (or make one) and attach it to the top. Instant chair! LOL!
Comfort is SO important. We lived in our shop while the house was remodeled. Used an expensive porta potty. Thin, super uncomfortable 'seat'. Blue liquid which dissolved poop just like a porta john. It smelled so bad when emptying it! For your system, try putting a high absorbency incontinence pad or period pad in the 'basement' to absorb the condensation. Condensation is just water
@@WaywardAbode you’re definitely right!! I hope when you finally do a van tour with Bob wells you bring this topic up bc idk if men deal with this but until we used a bucket toilet it never occurred to me and I was pretty mad that Bob had never warned me about it!! #BobWells #HoWA #CheapRVLiving @Cheap RV Living 😂😂😂
@@offairhead I'm a total dork and would likely geek out if I met Bob. But if I'm ever actually in this position, I'll try to remember including this. ❤️
I'm curious if you have ever looked into dry ice, as a freezer option? My hubby and I camp for 5 days and we purchase dry ice. It's very small ( the size of a small paperback book). It comes wrapped in newspaper. We put it at the bottom of our cheap cooler ( Coleman small cooler) and it keeps our meat frozen for 5 days. After it all evaporates, there is no mess, just a dry piece of newspaper to throw away.
I've not tried that or even heard of that being a possibility!!! I'm definitely gonna have to look into that as I'm likely to be without a fridge for at least another month. Thank you!!!
10:19 we used the luggable-loo and I loved the size of the seat and I love that I know a 5 gallon bucket will hold me. But yes, the condensation on the lid occurred there as well and it was the nastiest thing in the whole world
It's a freaking nightmare! A couple of folks in the comments suggested using puppy pads to catch the condensation, and that seems like a great idea, so I'm gonna give it a try. I'll let y'all know how it goes. Down with the peedensation!
Hi Birdie! I have the same toilet. I use paper towel to cap off the lid for condensation. I also bag the whole lid so I'm sitting on the bag. I should do a video on mine too. I bought flower stickers to cover the lid. Great job on the video, I went through two others before the Stansport. It's a winner!
I'd love to see a video of yours! I did try paper towels, but they would just get wet and then condensation would still end up on the lid. Perhaps I didn't use enough paper towels? I've started using puppy pads now, and they work great. I just subbed to your channel and I'll catch up on your videos when I can get to a hotspot. :)
A puppy pad set between the toilet and the seat should help to absorb the condensation which is just water from where the warmth meets the cold like the condensation that forms on your vehicle windows during the Winter when you breathe warm air it then hits the cold windows leaving condensation.
I just recently found your channel and I have to say, I am in love with it! You remind me so much of myself and my sense of humor… So many people don’t necessarily care for… However, I have begun to understand that it’s their loss! Please bring on the ads! Let us support you!
I totally get you about some folks not understanding our humor. Some folks literally hate it! 😆 But it is what it is, I say. And I'm super glad that you get it. Love you!
Good review. Not thinking clearly before buying, I bought a port a potty. I have to use chemicals and then detach bottom and carry it to dump in a toilet somewhere when full. Mine is 18” high and I love that about it.
I can definitely see how the height would make it easier on the knees! I can also see what a pain lugging it would be. It seems no toilet is perfect. The engineers need to get back to work! 😆😂
I totally get that!! I have learned how to aim so that even when it goes into sprinkler mode, it goes where it's supposed to go 99.9% of the time. But sometimes the sprinkler is too strong!!
Thanks for the review. Just a couple of thoughts. 1 condensation. In your van when cooking, sleeping or using heat source, crack a window. I use a bedside commode for when i cant make it the bathroom at night. I notice the condensation on the lid after i used it or cleaned it. I find that putting the lid on an angle so air can get inside helped a lot. 2 that commode doesn't have a handle on it. Are you suppose to use bags all the time? 3 take the bucket out that came with it and put a mop bucket inside. You will have more room and it is deeper. Plus theres a handle on the mop bucket so you can carry everything to the dumpster or wash it out easier. Happy travels!
Yeah, they're aren't actual handles, just indentations that you can hang on to. You do, indeed, always have to use bags. I mean, I suppose you could skip the bag. But that would make cleaning it a heck of a lot harder. And more gross, that's for sure! lol. I'll have to look into the mop bucket idea. Thank you!!
Great vid! Your vids make me happy! I am not a full timer, but I feel for each of you that are there and have few options. Know you are in my thoughts. Stay safe and have fun. You got this!😊
Hello! I don't have a van but I go tent camping 2-3 times every year and I also have a peedensation problem with my little foldable toilet. I LOVE your idea of the plastic sheet! I will certainly use that tip next summer. (From Québec, Canada)
Birdie this is very helpful. We use a luggable loo when on the road without rv. But I like this toilet!! Thanks for sharing with us. I’m wondering is condensation is cause by the pellets you are using. We use no dust kitty litter and haven’t had condensation. Have used this method for last 10 years. Great video!
Have you tried kitty litter rather than the pellets. I think the pellets are cheaper, but the kitty liter may not cause condensation. I am not sure, but I am just throwing another idea out there for you to try.
That's why they make bleach wipes! I am happy you did this review. I was looking at that one. What about putting a first bag in, then the bucket, then another bag in the bucket. I am in the same weight zone and comfort is priority #1. That space is to hide your millions or tampons maybe. Great review!😊
I think you are so real in all you have shared with us. Great review on this toilet, you should get a commission on the sales that are generated from your video.
Lol that'd be cool! But I'm also happy if I just helped folks make a decision. I get decision paralysis and reviews are the only way out of that for me. So hopefully I can be helpful too. Thank you for being so nice! ❤️
I have the same toilet. I use the wood pellets from Tractor Supply like you do. But i go 1 step further. After i put my cup of pellets in, i sprinkle some Purex Crystals in. They are cheap, and really make it smell good!!
Loved your review! My choice, and I'm not only a big girl also but I'm old😂...i use a basic 5 gallon bucket with a luggable loo lid, and that bucket is placed in a 2 gallon bucket( stacked) for height and sturdiness! I also use the pine pellets, inside of a Glad Force flex trash bag. I do wish they were biodegradable, but alas, no. They do however last a good week at least with having to change it out.
Heads up - for people in general - if this is a safe suggestion for your lifestyle/living situation/mental health - cheap has station vodka is a really really great gentle sanitizing type cleaner that takes care of odors, is food handling surface safe, when sprayed (use a dollar store spray bottle) onto straps it is seat belt and car seat strap safe as it's generally ph neutral. Once it's in a spray bottle, you can actually also use it on clothes between washings to clean up and freshen - not on under things but for shirts and pants it's great.
@@WaywardAbode great thanks mate, heading towards the end of Summer so of course you'll be entering your Spring soon 🌤️ 🌻 still about 97°F here though, we'll be starting Autumn (Fall) in a couple of weeks 🍂
@@WaywardAbode No actually I don't at all but I started using the bedside toilet liners that are scented and when I pee it comes up smellin like ROSES 🌹 literally. You can pee on those things 2 to 3 times depending how much you go and they absorb the pee and turn to a gel. Next morning I just close up the bag and throw it out. No mess no stench. During the day I close my lid. I used pellets before but storage was an issue for me. The pads aren't super cheap but very convenient and a box goes a long way. There are different fragrances. 🤗🩵
I think I’ve seen options on Amazon for travel, toilets that have the look of footstools. But vanlifer Lady Bugout has a couple of great videos showcasing her journey of finding the best fit for her.
I have the same one. I love it! but I never use it to pee. Pee jar with a lid! But if that's the way you like to use it I would use pellets and lasyl pee powder.❤
The plastic condensation shield is quite ingenious. The shaping will naturally shed condensate back into the bucket. The air space above the plastic sheet provides a small but significant insulation value, reducing condensation. I use a bottle system. This reduces, but does not eliminate the condensation issue. (It also reduces the horse stall pellets by a lot.) Specifically because of that i bag out every time. You may have given me a viable alternative. I will test.
Very detailed.Great description of this toilet. Thanks for giving all the pros and cons from your experience. I think some reviews are done before the person has tried it out and there's not as much info given as you did. Thank you so much for sharing this video!☺️
You are most welcome. Thank you for watching! I agree, it's best when folks can actually use something for a while before they review it. How else can you give a proper review? :)
Excellent, detailed video! I am a bigger gal, too, so I truly appreciate your perspective on it. My biggest issue, beyond what you have mentioned, would be the toilet height. I have knee issues and the toilet is far to short for me. I also couldn't do it in the vehicle so I will need to get some sort of pop-up privacy tent to use outside with a toilet. Not ideal, but it is all I can think of to do. Haven't figured out how to find a toilet tall enough for my needs yet. I love that you explain the nitty gritty, realistic issues on using a portable toilet. Thank you! New fan!
My knees aren't the best, so I can imagine if they were worse, it would be much more difficult. I think you're on to the right idea with the privacy , long as you're in a spot you can put it up. ❤️
I was just watching your tour video where you were bemoaning that it's always "right there". Honestly, as camp toilets go that's probably the most attractive one I've seen! The color is really nice, and if I wasn't in the know, I would have thought it was a garbage bin! So I'm not 100% sure if it bothers you being there because it's a fairly large item right there or because it's actually a toilet... Or because other people will see your toilet as one of the first things when they look inside. Other than it being cumbersome perhaps and in your way, I don't think you need to worry about it on the grounds of its being a toilet. 🙂 I have one of the round Reliance toilets (my original toilet and my fallback is a bedpan... That was an awesome system!). It's big and clunky, too. I found a pretty ottoman cover to stick over top of it and I will use it as a stool for sure, it can also function as a small table. I've been using it only for camping, and I tend to remove the bag (containing cat litter as the medium) immediately afterwards and putting it in another bag. I realize that can get fussy if you're living in the vehicle, but it did avoid the condensation issue.
I watched a video of yours the other day, which related to you not securing the toilet, and tipped over as you drive off. In order to lessen the smell greatly, it is too bad that the manufacturer did not devise a way that the urine trails down into a separate space from the poop. By using the coconut core, those wood pellets, or sawdust, the poop smell is kept low. Apparently, it is the urine, which when it mixes with the other, the awful smell is created. 😊
That has to be the first toilet review I have ever seen but very informative. Just a thought about the condensation, what about using a sheet of blue roll that you rip off ( the longer rolls) or the paper-thin doctors recover the beds they have in examination rooms. That way you can just dump in the loo when your about to use to cover the previous dump before. Paper is biodegradable. Bags wise, have you ever seen those commode bags that I think might be biodegradable, too? I would worry it would collapse too. Handy to know about though, so thank-you😊
Thank you so much for watching! Especially if it's not something you would normally do. 🥰 I did try paper towels, and cause they're permeable, the paper towel got wet and the lid still got condensation on it. Wish it had worked, though, cause I feel much better about throwing away paper than plastic. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure something out that won't be so bad for the environment. 😔
Thank you for being so specific. I, too, have noticed that my “leaks” are further front than I expected, when I first started needing light incontinence pads, so what you said here made perfect sense to me (age 71). I do have a question and comment about disposing of the waste - We put baby diapers in the trash, right? So this is a bit larger, do you have a system for stealthily disposing of the used bags? In my mind, I imagine taking them to a gas station restroom when they are around the side or back (outside). But now that I think of it, so many of them are inside, that’s probably not realistic. If you don’t mind, please share your solution?
Because I'm in the city, I can dispose of the bags pretty regularly, so they're small. I use black bags so they're a little less see-through. So I just walk up to any ol' trash and throw 'em in. Parks and fast food/Walmart parking lots are easiest. Or yes, the gas station when you're at the pump. As long as you act like you aren't doing anything weird, no one even notices you. :) I was worried about this too when I first started. But I quickly realized I had made it bigger in my mind than it was. If you act nonchalant, no one will even notice.
Why not get a regular paint bucket (come in many sizes lower than 5 gallons) or a 5 gallon bucket to put in there and screw a funnel to it with a hose to go onto a bottle, a makeshift separating toilet, using pet bedding pellets, coco couir(sp), or something elseabsorbent, or gel.
I’m would use that cheap white crystal cat litter it absorbs moisture. Mixed with your medium. Walmart has it real cheap. Maybe few paper towels in bottom might absorb pee drips. Stainless steel buckets don’t smell too.
Can you wash it out it out at the car wash occasionally? Spray it liberally with vinegar to neutralize odor and seep into the plastic then rinse it out? And what about puppy pee pads for the condensation issue. You can lay the white part down and that would absorb the condensation and then switch it out once it starts to smell?
That's a great idea about the car wash! Totally gonna do that at some point! And yes! I've recently started using a puppy pad for that purpose and it works great. Thank you!!!
I wonder, 🤔 could you stick a feminine hygiene pad to the inside of the lid to absorb the moisture. I might have to experiment with this, but I believe you’re right, once the weather warms up it shouldn’t be an issue. Great review.
Store extra stuff around that bowl, like the pellets. Could you get a taller, larger bucket in there and use it multiple times? I think it might be a worthwhile investment for longer stays to get those commode bags with the gel that locks in the smell? It’s like those crystals you can put in your garden to hold extra moisture or the stuff they put in diapers to absorb their pee. And it’s way more compact than the pellets.
I had heard those horse pellets worked so great but it would seem they don't really absorb well enough, hence the condensation. You could try to find a company that does woodworking that would be creating alot of sawdust and would be willing to keep it for you. If you brought them a 5 gal bucket I'm sure they'd be more than happy. It would cost you nothing but your trouble and give you free medium. Another solution might be using your p-style funnel and a big juice jug or detergent bottle for the #1, which would solve the bucket filling too fast, the odor problems, the aim issues, etc.. but wouldn't be as convenient. Unless you could modify it for separating liquids and solids - you'd have to lose the small bucket part and put your own container in the big part. a small stainless steel stock pot (would give you handles for lifting and wouldn't absorb smells) could work and can be found reasonably - check your thrift stores first. DIYing a diverter would be more of a challenge, especially with so small a unit that's plastic.. sorry I'm running out of ideas for you but hope that some part of this is helpful. Your review of this toilet was awesome.. a very well done, honest review. Thank you so much. I can appreciate the sturdiness of this unit, but would likely be hesitant to purchase it myself because it's not separating. Thanks so much for sharing. Happy travels.
The pellets work well to absorb but aren't very good at trapping it. 😂 I'm trying to master the p-style so I can do a jug when I'm in the van, but I'm just not good enough with it yet not to make a mess. It takes so much coordination! lol. Totally understand why you prefer separating bowls. :) Thank you so much. I appreciate you. ❤️
Birdie, what a great review. The humble chamber pot gets reviewed by a gal with the eye of a designer and mind of an engineer. Peedensation, X-Y Pelvis targeting(Peelates?), pragmatic cleaning solutions.Dang, very impressive. Extra space below is great for valuables unless a thief has Rubbermaid gloves and a Gorton's Fisherman Rain slicker. Did you mention price$$$? 😁 Def less money than the fine but expensive West German TRELINO. So your #1 & #2 suggestions for improvement are?😉
I laughed out loud so many times reading this!!! Now I have to get serious and answer a question!? Challenge accepted. First suggestion would definitely be a larger bucket. And second would be some kind of coating on the plastic to make it less penetratable? No penetrating jokes, mister!
I wonder if the tall ice cream bucket (that you usually can get free or cheaply from an ice cream shop) would fit in your toilet instead of that tiny round bowl? And, if you can get the lid for the ice cream bucket, it would eliminate the pee condensation (which is probably water). Just remember to remove the lid before using! :) You do talk about the most interesting things for future minivan campers. :) Jon in rural BC, Canada
Seems to me you could make or find a cover for it and you’d have an ottoman if you wanted to camouflage it more. I use a portable that has 3 legs that folds out (so I named it Tripod). It folds up to the size of a briefcase easy stashing for travel.
@@WaywardAbode oh, a friend & I will be testing out another Big Gal portable on an upcoming trip. It is collapsing down to a few inches strong (allegedly holds up to 380 lbs). Someone else we know has it. Should be ok, but doesn’t look like it will hold up forever like Tripod (whom is rated at 500 lbs).
I have used the P style and She-wee on backpacking trips and I know at least the She-wee has an extender tube so I’m kind of wondering if you could use that to create a female pee bottle, responsibly disposed of of course, lol unlike your previous video that showed irresponsibility 😊
That’s the best part of creating a good product great review by a great person who knows how to create great footage’s and videos that touch so many people’s hearts 💕 thank you Birdie 😂you just made my day with this amazing content for everyone has to pee and popping in a little bit of a toilet 🚽 and yes 👍 I have one too in my garage still in the box 📦 just in case ❤love you woman stay strong and safe and be cool 😊
Bravo 👏! Excellent review! Stansport should send you a check! Or maybe it's just vanlife..bahahaha! You're a hoot! Happy travels, stay safe and God bless you, you're a joy!
Maybe try paper towel and place a couple of squares on top of seat instead, as it should absorb the condensation and shouldn't have that wet sensation, like the plastic and you can also throw it in the toilet when needed and throw away with the body waste 👍🙂
If you pooped into a bag and you're not near anywhere so you can dispose of it, can you tie off the bag and store it underneath? Or could you remove that small bucket and use bigger tough bags that you line with those pallets or the puppy pee pads so you can then do more wee's instead?
Do you think, if you got a bigger bag that fit over the whole base, that might help with the accidental dribble? 🤔 I think I would be too lazy to tuck the bag in around the tiny pee bucket anyway! Lol!
@@WaywardAbode Actually, that might solve the condensation issue too! You could clip the top of the larger bag closed with one of those long food bag clips! Lol, look at me getting all excited about finding a possible solution for your peedensation!😂
I actually tried that. But the paper towel would get wet and then I guess it would evaporate onto the lid. So there would still be moisture on the lid. Didn't work for me. Maybe I didn't use enough paper towels?
Just found your channel! I've never been so absorbed in a video about pee and loos! Lol. You are great! You are so real and down to earth. Sending love from Australia ❤️

Great review! What about a puppy pad on the bottom? It should absorb spillage.❤❤❤
That's a great idea!! Gonna try it. :)
And it wouldn't take a whole puppy pad each time. Those things can be large.
I came here to suggest the same or the adult commode liners.
Let me know how that goes! :)

Soooo....I did try the dollar tree shower cap. It was a tiny bit too small, but I might try a real shower cap maybe from Walmart 🤣
Use a doggie pee pad. Depending on the size you may have to cut it in 1/4s they last a long time always seem dry.

And no doubt about vanlife forcing you to face the human condition!
I love that you keep everything “real”!!

Great review, Birdie 🐦 ❤😊🍀
No worries about urine getting on the lid, except for the odor. Science fact: Urine is actually sterilewhen leaving your body. Not so with stool obviously. Love your vids!
That's good to know, thank you! :)
I have just watched all your videos and just LOVE you!!! You are wonderful. I feel that since your counseling didn't seem to help you at the time, it was a stepping stone for you. It got you to this point in your life and God is taking care of you. You are wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us.
What a wonderful comment to read. I love the idea that God has my back. I hope it's true. Thank you for helping me have a little faith. ❤️
Thank you.
Hi, Debra!! It's awesome to meet you. Thank you so much for saying this. I really appreciate it. 🤗
Excellent explanation! You are extremely talented. I mean that, I believe with all my heart the Lord has big plans for you on RUclips and other fields. Girl you are awesome!
That's a really cool thing to say. Thank you so much! 😊
Good peeformation! This potty would be great also for everyday travel, for seniors, or kids.
🤣😂🤣😂 Oh yes, very true. :)
I was also thinking about those of us with intestinal disorders (IBS, colitis, IBD, etc). When you gotta go you gotta go!
This seems like an excellent set up! Thank you for such a great explanation!
Keep it coming girlfriend!!!
these things work GREAT but they would tip over on the road. tape them down!!
Mmm peedensation rice - a delicacy!! 🤣 These are great tips. Gonna have to see if I can try them. Minus the pee rice, of course! 😅😂
Peedensation. I love you. Thank you for this info!!
That's so good to hear! But I don't think I'll be drinking it any time soon. At least I hope I won't have to! 😂
Excellent review, Birdie. You covered all the bases very well, and with humor, to boot!
Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
What about small $1 store puppy pads for the lid condensation and the bottom, it might help with smell. This is a perfect review, thank you.
Thank you! I'm 100% gonna try your puppy pad trick. I think that might just be a perfect solution! 😄
I would put one on the bottom it might help. 😊
Commode pads are good options as well because they absorb the moisture using an absorbent material that is also used inside diapers.
Looks a lot more comfortable than my luggable Loo. I clean mine with a spray bottle w/ rubbing alcohol and water. Excellent review!
That's a great idea! And probably cheaper than wipes. I'll do that next time! Thank you! :)
LOL!
I love your sense of humor
Thank you!! I rarely take anything seriously. Sure does get me in trouble sometimes! 😅
Sister, you’ve got my mind going in all directions. Little bowls, big boxes, pee condensation, it makes me wonder but I have no answers. 🤔😂
Lmao!! It boggles the mind for sure!! 🤣

@@WaywardAbode yes, definitely let us know!!
Good honest review. The practical approach is what's needed for the important things in life.
Totally agree. Thank you!

1:48 thank you for that heads up, that is a big huge no for me bc I have aim issues already. …my body identifies as a sprinkler!
I totally get that!! I have learned how to aim so that even when it goes into sprinkler mode, it goes where it's supposed to go 99.9% of the time. But sometimes the sprinkler is too strong!!
@@WaywardAbode I have to go 500 times a night and I’m not really awake enough to remember I need to aim until it’s too late.
Thank you!!
I have been using my Stansport for over three years now. I still love it. I typically only use it for #2. For #1 I use a Folgers coffee can with lid 😂

Very interesting!!! I didn't even think the medium could be the culprit. I'm gonna investigate. Thank you!!
Have you tried kitty litter rather than the pellets. I think the pellets are cheaper, but the kitty liter may not cause condensation. I am not sure, but I am just throwing another idea out there for you to try.
Great review! You’re a natural teacher Birdie!❤
That's why they make bleach wipes! I am happy you did this review. I was looking at that one. What about putting a first bag in, then the bucket, then another bag in the bucket. I am in the same weight zone and comfort is priority #1. That space is to hide your millions or tampons maybe. Great review!😊
The double bag system sounds super smart. Thank you!
Woohoo it's Birdiegirl, love and peace from Australia as always 🦘😘

On my Ritzy (pee bucket) I leave it uncovered at night during colder weather and that works great to not have condensation. 😁👍🏻
Um.... why didn't I think of that??? Do you deal with smells if you've already used the bucket?
@@WaywardAbode
No actually I don't at all but I started using the bedside toilet liners that are scented and when I pee it comes up smellin like ROSES 🌹 literally.
Excellent review. If I ever need a camping toilet your review would convince me to buy this one.
Well that is awesome! Thank you for having faith in me. :)
I have the same one. I love it! but I never use it to pee. Pee jar with a lid! But if that's the way you like to use it I would use pellets and lasyl pee powder.❤
Well I learned a new word today …..peedensation 😂😂😂😂 You’re review was definitely spot on. 🤭
Lol it's a problem!! 😅🙃 Thank you!! 🥰
Let me know how it went! I've moved to using puppy pads in place of the plastic shield. They work even better for me! :)
That was a great review of your toliet. Thanks for sharing. You have a wonderful sense of humor. You crack me up.
I'm so glad you laughed with me! Toilets are funny business. 😁 thank you!!
I have one of the round Reliance toilets (my original toilet and my fallback is a bedpan...
I watched this before but now really need something more than just a paint bucket. Lol so I’ve used your affiliate link to add to my cart today.
Thank you so much for this info. It really helps me and making a choice.
Thanks for the info!!!
You're most welcome!
This would probably work well!! :)
I’m would use that cheap white crystal cat litter it absorbs moisture. Mixed with your medium. Walmart has it real cheap. Maybe few paper towels in bottom might absorb pee drips. Stainless steel buckets don’t smell too.
Interesting! How heavy is that?

That's awesome! I'm quite happy with it. :)
Thank you Birdie!
I was wondering about this toilet. 😊🙏🌸
Right on! I hope I was able to help. :)
Love this video, well done and thankyou for being honest.
Thanks for telling me about those. Definitely gonna look into it. I appreciate it! 😊
Thank you so much.

If you pooped into a bag and you're not near anywhere so you can dispose of it, can you tie off the bag and store it underneath? Or could you remove that small bucket and use bigger tough bags that you line with those pallets or the puppy pee pads so you can then do more wee's instead?
Right on!
Do you think, if you got a bigger bag that fit over the whole base, that might help with the accidental dribble? 🤔 I think I would be too lazy to tuck the bag in around the tiny pee bucket anyway! Lol!
I'll have to see about that. Let me give it some thought and play around with it. It'd be so cool if that worked!
@@WaywardAbode Actually, that might solve the condensation issue too! You could clip the top of the larger bag closed with one of those long food bag clips! Lol, look at me getting all excited about finding a possible solution for your peedensation!😂
For condensation, you can put a paper towel on top of the seat
I actually tried that. But the paper towel would get wet and then I guess it would evaporate onto the lid. So there would still be moisture on the lid. Didn't work for me. Maybe I didn't use enough paper towels?
Hate those open slats on the upper front. That allows the air to get stinky. Much better ones out there & very reasonable.
Just found your channel! I've never been so absorbed in a video about pee and loos! Lol.
You are great! You are so real and down to earth.
Sending love from Australia ❤️

Great review!
Thank you! 🤗
