Happy new year Tom. Great video. Glad your back .fingers crossed for a very busy year ahead .paul

Good to see you back at it mate. I usually mark the wall to see where the cut pipe is and take the middle of my fitting to that.

Good to see you back mate🙌🏼🙌🏼……. As for that strawberry blond facial hair…😬😬😬

Good video cheers 👍
Keep the videos coming always enjoy a laugh 👍
appreciate ya
Great info 👍
cheers pal
You can file away the stopper in a standard end feed coupler to make a slip coupler if you're desperate for one btw!
i didnt have a round file :(
Just wondered how you keep track of your boiler services as in the dates carried out and dates due etc... any app recommendations? I've put all mine into a spreadsheet but it's a nightmare changing the dates and re ordering it all etc... Great vid 👌
I do all my servicing in august for my service plan customers, so i contact them in june and block out the whole month
@@ParkesPlumbing ahhh I see... I have them booked all over the place! Glad to see you looking alot better mate 👍 and thanks for the quick reply! 5 star service all round... I'm still getting back to December's calls and messages...
That spark from the Torch 😂😂😂
breeze block hah .. shit myself
Nice to see you back bud where do you get your press tool calibration done??
not needed it yet but ill be sending it to pressit
Quality mate 😁
Cheers pal
Great for attics no flame
no brainer
Man said "twist it out" looool
you knowwww
Have they got a swivel head lint the nova press I’ve got ?
Yes mate
Extensions looking good, who’s doing the plumbing ? 🤪 that gas pipe was a a real treat, had one similar recently, unbelievable, take care
cheers mate ive got a professional in
Have you used the press gun much on boiler installs mate? What you think?
yeh everyone bud .. love it
I bought a press gun last year and used it maybe 10 times if that. Just find myself always getting the torch out. 22mm 10xtee 10xelbow 10xstraight £72!! For 30 fittings just can’t justify it
the fittings are expensive agreed .. but you save it in time
Time is money if I could justify using a pressfit machine I'd have one tommorrow.....but I use fittings once or twice a week at the most now ,if I was back installing I'd use it to save on time....plus it makes you think about using the least amount of fittings to complete the job....
How does the 510i work? How do you get up to 20,21mbar ?
bluetooth into the phone mate
Yahoo! You are back!
glad to be back!
Good to see you back mate. Think you may need to dry lube you press jaws mate.
ive heard this actually
@@ParkesPlumbing ha ha ha ha
What’s the adaptor your using to attach the 510i hose to the test nipple
I’m sure it’s a fish tank hose connector i found once. Works a treat
Don't like press to expensive fitting and buying the gun calibration ect...
Had nothing but bother with my R'berger tt compact from day 1. Sh1ts the bed every few weeks. R'berger upgrade me to the romax big boy gun at no extra cost. So far so good. Only use uponor 16+20mm mlcp and copper press fit now. It's so much quicker
my mate has the rothy and likes it .. guess its just one of those things
@@ParkesPlumbingyep the tt compact is a great tool it's just incredibly unreliable. I went through 4 guns in 6 months 🤦♂️. R'berger looked after me well though which made it a bit less stressful
Your old REMs is still going strong mate
wayyy! legendary machine
U need to get some slip colars for press my friend
i have them bud .. wouldnt get machine in
Sh#t yourself with that soldering pop 😁😁😁 good video mate 👍
breeze block shit my pants
🤘😎🤘
cheers wayne
I'm not a gas fitter but I would not put my name to a repair like that, you have left it in a dangerous position that it could be drilled through once covered up , a small leak into the void behind the plaster board above the hob ? and there could be a nice big explosion
How would you do it then? Oh wait .. you’re not a gas fitter. Never mind.
@@ParkesPlumbing 🤣🤣……
Gas pipe in wall shall be sealed with dat fob or timber, protection from corrosion and protected by minimum 1mm steel plate.
What’s the chances when they plaster over it and go to remount the extractor they drill through the pipe again.😉🤣
100 percent
where ya been mate?
servicing 10000 of the same boilers lol
Press tool too expensive as are the fitting, ill be sticking to this cave man stuff.
its not for everyone bud i agree
Cons
Not demountable
Expensive tool
Expensive fittings
Access with tool
Why not use copper push fit?
Define expensive when compared to time on the job
@@ParkesPlumbing doesn’t take long to sweat a fitting
@@onefortheroad1 in the wet?
@@ParkesPlumbing is it worth forking out all the money for the odd wet fitting?
