Canon-McMillan's Delaney Walden at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives

Representative Tim O'Neal recently shared that he hosted rising senior Delaney Walden as a guest page in the chamber of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She is the daughter of two retired members of the U.S. Air Force.
Delaney’s interest in public service stems from her parents’ example of service, living abroad for her formative years, and her grandmother Linda McCabe of Erie, whose spent her lifetime participating in local and state politics by serving on numerous committees and as a state delegate. Until her recent passing, Linda worked for the last 10 years for Rep. Ryan Bizzaro (D-Erie).
Delaney will be attending an immersive national security and intelligence experience this summer at Georgetown University with the National Student Leadership Council. Finally, she hopes to attend Penn State in the fall of 2024 and study political science with a minor focused on national security.
