Thanks for this video. This helped a ton. Just got mine apart and the exact same model. Battery is a 3EE btw, lol. After hours of research seals are 1811164 and tons of aftermarket ones out there on Ebay and Amazon. I found out all fluid capacities and filter numbers if anyone needs them. Lemme know. Thanks for the vid
you guys ever hear of a spanner wrench? would stop the need for a welder. never seen any hydraulic repairs that needed a welder. I just rebuilt the same cylinder from the same Hilo in this video. i cringed watching you unmount from the mast. i used a cherry picker (alot safer).
I'm not a hyd. shop either but welding to a gland nut isn't the best option. just sharing my exp. for others watching your video and where they can get the tools I used to the same lift truck and cyl. seals. wasn't really picking on you or trying to trigger anyone. @@Wolfpupfab
CLK-1811164-E $311.00 CLK-1811164 $235.00 I have purchased from Hercules Sealing Products $250.00 approximately with shipping. This cylinder is not for the faint hearted. These guys made some cringe worthy mistakes if you’re a professional shop. But I like the get’er done attitude. My o’l man always would say “nothing ventured nothing gained”. Hood job.

Good to hear! Glad it helped somebody👍
mini forklift ik its heavy
I literally just bought the same lift for my shop from Craigslist. Love it. Only 2 stage mast but that's perfect for me.
The only complaint we have is the No power steering…but it is a nice compact strong forklift.
@@Wolfpupfab same man! I couldn't agree more....with both facts!:)
Bom trabalho rapazes. Precisa de muita coragem para fazer esse tipo de serviço!!!
Thanks!

We aren’t exactly a hydraulic shop if you didn’t notice and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Thanks for watching👍

I have a 1978 c300-40 looks like the same one, try to find the kit seals.
Hi, I need to get some ram seals for my c500 3 stage ram. Do you know where I can get them? I can't find any in the UK. Thanks.
Do you shop EBay over there? If so I would try searching on there.
Do you have any idea what the model number on that seal kit is?
No we are not sure

How did you bleed the cylinder? I'm having a issue with the same model
I believe there was a bleeder screw or hole at the top of the cylinder to get all the air out
Good job for a beginner.
Thanks!
How much was it for the seals ?
We are not sure. They came with the forklift and luckily they were the right ones.
are ye crazy doing that in your good clothes!!!!
