Thanks. It’s been over a year now so I’ve recovered as much as I’m going to recover. Ankle is all titanium now. One of the screws is actually broken, but the docs say we can leave it as is. I’m just glad to be walking without crutches or cane anymore. Slight limp at times depending on the day and how much I’m on my feet or push it but just glad to be able to walk again.
@@Aktor2 Hopefully time will get that last bit of pain out of the way. I had a knee injury that took a few years before it finally stopped hurting and swelling, but eventually did. I also had a shoulder injury that took a few years to heal. What helped me a lot was figuring out how to strengthen the muscle support around the injured area. Well, here’s to hoping you’ll be in top form soon enough. Also, you’ve got titanium implants, rare material forged in the heart of dying stars LOL!!

Watched this video, before getting mine, after looking at my options to replace the NIU KQi3 Pro, I got the P100 (since it was on sale). I can relate to your story and experience (I use to ride to BMX and now mostly MTB & Gravel). I still my ES4 some times, the main thing I have noticed with the P100, the Bar/stem is too tall or the deck is too short compared the controls, IMO. So the balance of this scooter is something to get use too, besides the controls. Heal up.
Nothing wrong with your story and giving warning on the torqueness of the p100s. People should just not take sport mode for granted. I was very surprised how much torque there was. I only ride in drive mode now and with caution. I hope you heal correctly and get back onto your Segway. It handles and rides much better and safer than the other Segway models. I have not only the p100s but the GL30 and Ninebot Max. I just don't think the p100s is good for portability. Too heavy and big for the subways and buses of NYC. I interchange according to my needs.
I only can wonder why so powerful scooter like p100s takes only 23 degrees uphill. I have Ninebot Max G30P which takes 20 degrees uphill and outdated, but does not give me much problems with maintenance, I just add some lights for safety reasons. I use mostly D mode, S when I go uphill, then I switch to D again. I used ECO mode the first 7 days while studied specifics of MAX.
I have a dualtron thunder 3 and was thinking of getting my woman one of these. Now im debating, she can handle the power as shes rode faster but the real wheel drive part is concerning
Yeah, I’m not sure why they switched the drive from front to rear especially after adding all that power. I think it’s 0 to 30mph in 2.3 seconds. Seems like it should be the other way around. It should’ve been rear wheel drive and switch it to front when they added all this power, but who knows. 🤷♂️

@Aktor2 you wouldn't think it would flip up. The p100s has 1600watts of peak power. Dualtron thunder 3 has 10,800 watts of peak power ?
