Agreed, but such is Eurovision. Oh well, at least Voyager created this amazing song for us to enjoy.

As I have stated many times by now - Voyager had to be nr.1. Their performance was like - they just NUKED the arena

Hiya! The results for SF2 released and Australia won SF2 so no surprises there. Very surprised by the GF televote though.
Everyone knew it was going to be a straight fight between Sweden and Finland for the win, so lots of people threw their votes behind one of those two acts. That's why lots of excellent rock or alternative acts got lower scores than expected in the grand final - their fans were voting to push Finland over the line. It didn't work in the end, but they got so close. I don't think anyone's got over 500 points and not won before?
@@russetmantle1 I preferred Australia and Germany and maybe even Belgium over Finland. I really fought hard against the Sweden Jury Tax so we can have an actually interesting winner but here we are...
In the semifinal you vote so your favourite song enters in the final. In the final you don't waste your money since you know they'll never gonna win. I'm glad jury voted for them.
@@russetmantle1 Bulgaria in 2017 got 2nd with 615 points but that was the year with Salvador and when Portugal won.

You could be asking: "How did he get *his* car on stage, from Australia?" I've known these guys for a long time and worked for them a few times and I didn't know he was into that sort of thing at all 😂
probably via hydraulic elevating system from below the stage, the same way for instance it is being done in ao Amsterdam Concertgebouw to get the Steinway Grand Piano up on the stage (as they are stored in the basement, behind lock and key); same as well for the drum kit (prepared below stage, then elevated)
Its the lead singers first car he ever bought, shipped from Oz to the UK.

@Subspatial_Anomaly During Eurovision interviews, the band said it isn't Danny's beloved car, just the same model, purchased locally. They said his remained in Australia.
