Enjoyed this video. I am waiting for my first fountain pens to arrive. I am hoping to find the best pens, nibs, inks and paper to use as a left handed writer without smudging issues.
Ooh, I purchased the TWSBI Eco Indigo Bronze in an EF and it too is a really wet writer (and writes as wide as the F nib in my other TWSBIs). I just got the TWSBI Eco in Rose Gold and Creme in an EF and it seems to be closer to what I would expect of an EF nib. I wonder if it's the bronze nib plating? In any case, I should say I'm really enjoying your videos so thank you for sharing. 🙂
That's an interesting theory! I find it does indeed write as wide a the F nib in another TWSBI I have - I checked multiple times to see it's actually an EF nib. I don't really know enough about the materials to say it could be the nib plating, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I'll try it with a dry ink soon to see if it'll give me a more enjoyable writing experience. Thank you for your comment! 😊
Right?! The bronze is such a pretty accent colour. I haven't tried it with a drier ink yet (this was my first time inking it up), but I will try that soon.
Is the Lamy a smooth writing experience?? I always see people saying it is scratchy but I really want to try the left handed nib. Just cause I’m curious lol
I don't really think it's scratchy per se, just a bit of a drier writer. I haven't tried the left-handed nib, though. I'm curious about that one as well!
I am a big fan of TWSBI

Thank you for your comment, Melissa! So exciting that you're getting your first fountain pens! I hope you will enjoy the journey. 😊
I love that red ink.

I think I'l see if I have a dry ink and try that next - if I have any success I will let you know 👍
That TWSBI Eco Indigo Bronze is really pretty... Do you enjoy it when you have a drier ink in it?
