I have the old 4.2 rs5 and I would love to see how it compares to newer turbocharged cars. It’s got almost the same hp as the new rs5 but it’s way down on torque at 430nm due to natural aspiration. Drag raced it with a tuned supercharged S5 once and I got my ass kicked lol. But I really wanna see how the old V8 compares to newer turbo 6’s and 4’s.
Ive tried it personally, the new one is faster by a big margin, its like new s5 vs new rs5, but still the old one is more of an experience with its sound nd awesome engine
Yes, the A45S is an agreesive hot hatch and it's one of the best hot hatch for it's price, but you have to agree that a sporty sedan (RS5) with it's Quattro(AWD) drivetrain is faster and better than the A45S.
It is expensive everywhere as a hot hatch, btw do you even know the price of the Audi RS5, search it's price, even the A45S will sound more budget and sensible compared to the RS5.
I like these drag races over the crap powerdrift does with shameless products sponsoring in the middle of it . Didn't expect the Audi RS5 to win but what the hell it won fair and square against the merc .It was exciting. Anyway I was happy to see the Ford figo in the end . I hope its the TDCI . It should be put in race against other players like Polo, i20,Altroz iturbo and Verna which we saw featured in the video.
Hi @autocar india team, why does it be that the timings are different in all the three races? Not challenging you guys, just wondering- same track, same cars, same drivers, etc. Same environment, same flooring the throttle, still time differences to the quarter mile?
Are you sure it's a quarter mile time in seconds, and if it is then how is it possible, as his top speed barely reaches 30/40miles per hour(48.3-64.4km/h).
Don't agree, the RS6 and RS7 sportback are good for it's competition, although most RS kinda lacks performance for its competition, like the RS3 isn't so fast when compared to the A45S. Btw, the RS5 won the drag race, what are you talking about, bro??
Plz do a drag race between MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, XUV 700 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
