My Visual Merchandising class, for my Fashion Design degree taught us to hang clothes light to dark, solids to prints, to neutrals. Short to long, small to large, if we want our closet to look like a boutique. U can donate those wire hangers to the dry cleaners, for recycling. Tube hangers are good for skirts & pants, so they don't crease across the middle. The spaghetti strap tops, make good camisoles. I hang Summer & Winter in same closets, but my weight fluctuates, so 1 closet is size 14s, another is size 16s, & another is size 18s.
The camel colored corduroy jacket can be worn with burgundy, maroon, pine green, red, peach, rust colored, or hot fudge colored sweater, or blouse can be worn under it, with a plaid skirt, & boots. It's a Fall neutral. MAROON & CONCRETE GRAY are the "IT" colors this Fall. Vests & full skirts are back, & pleated plaid skirts. Denim on denim, big chunky chain necklaces, & earrings, piled on jewelry. Silk scarves & brooches are all the rage, trench coats, vintage brown mink, or faux fur, leather, fringe, bows, Fall florals, shades of brown, olive, & long blazers, are in. Don't toss those, but skinny jeans & ripped jeans are out.
People who hang spaghetti straps on silk padded hangers, can sew a couple of round buttons on the top of each shoulder of the hanger, to prevent slipping off the hanger.
Awwwwww….. weight fluctuations have played a role in my minimalist wardrobe revisit too ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you got this…. Forever!!! Xoxooxoxox donating, selling and sharing helps us go through this 😊
Great job! Try folding the Kanmari method way. It's a really easy way to see all your clothes but they get less wrinkled them. There's a bunch of videos on RUclips using a search for show you how to fold everything.
Fluctuating weight plagues us all. A few recommendations for you. Stop buying clothes and invest in better quality hangers. Also, you shouldn't hang sweaters. They will lose their shape. Also, if you are serious about downsizing, you should count how many items you have in each category and take notes about what you do and don't like: colors, fits, materials ect. Make a list, and only shop for what is on the list. Most other purchases you probably don't need. Otherwise, you will forever be in the cycle of owning too much, donating and decluttering, and buying and owning too much again.

I also keep the Summer and Winter clothes together in one wardrobe year round. It’s just simpler.
Great job!!! You need to put your crop tops and short shirts in a drawer (save space). As you get older your style will change time and time again!!
I can’t do rompers or itchy scratchy either …. Or polyester and plastic fabrics 😅🎉

I do a similar method with my shirt drawer but I should do it for the rest of my clothes as well! Thank you!!
I still love cropped 😊❤
You could wear that cordrouy jacket with burdandy jeans or trousers with a cream or stone t-shirt.
Ooo that is a cute outfit idea 😍
