Everytime anyone in my family gets muscle pains or spasms, the first thing I do is say, "Hold on, let me find you a Brad and Bob episode". You guys are constantly fixing us up. I've gotten quite an education from you two. A thumbs up just doesn't seem like a sufficient thank you.

I'm a retired orthodontic assistant , the posture I had to maintain was just horrible. Began seeing a chiropractor because my posture threw my gait off leaning always to one side while working on patients. I suffer with thoracic and neck pain, had to leave my job initially because of carpal tunnel, thumb and wrist arthritis... after 35 years I just couldn't do it anymore. I had been into fitness my entire life and took yoga which allowed me to last as long as I did. Many nights at the end of my career I would come home in tears from pain... I continue to do muscle strengthening exercises that help tremendously.... Now I continue just to function ...

It’s 3:00 AM and I haven’t been able to sleep at all due to thoracic back pain from my poor posture and sitting for extended periods of time typing for work. My awesome wife told me about your channel a few years ago. I revisited the channel tonight and learned about these exercises which gave me significant relief quickly. I thank you so much for all that you and your team offer! You’ve helped me feel much better.

I appreciate what you're doing for people. I hurt my mid-back shoveling snow a few weeks ago. Stooping over, especially if twisting at the same time, caused a lot of sharp discomfort (ie. getting in and out of my car or even pushing up from a chair). I found you gentlemen, watched a few of your videos, listened to how you explained the treatments and gave it a try. I used the "sitting-up-straight rotation movement" and I could tell quickly that something beneficial was happening. Today, I did the rotation a couple for of sets left & right, once more finding results. This is really working for me. I'll be careful with my back, so it has time to heal, plus, I will continue this rotation therapy until it does heal. Then I'll get back into moderate exercise and strength training. Thanks to you both.

I've been watching your videos for any specific pain I get over the years and I've found a lot of relief. Recently I am having mid back pain and I watched your video a few days back, but frankly didn't have time to follow it because of hectic work. Yesterday this back pain again struck me and worst part is I had to make a presentation to a client in half an hour. On the way to the client place I just put my water bottle on the car seat (instead of the ball) and did the same stretches. I got immediate relief from the pain and had one worry out of my mind before the presentation. Thank you so much for your service and efforts.... you and Dr. Mendel have contributed lot in the improvement of my health.

I’ve had pain in one spot of my upper spine since I was 16. The rotations to the opposite side actually provided relief. My previous chiropractor didn’t mention any home exercises, but I’ve tried foam rolling every possible way. I feel like I can breathe more deeply, and like I’m an inch taller after trying these rotations.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I've been in agony since Monday, after pulling something in my thoracic spine doing DIY. I've been off work because I've barely been able to move, and I'm hunched with pain radiating across my rib cage, making it difficult to take deep breaths. I just tried the first of the exercises you've detailed in this video, and already the pain has narrowed back towards the center of my spine, and lessened in severity. I'm standing almost completely upright. I'll be doing this every hour or two over the weekend. Thank you so much Bob and Brad! I honestly can't thank you enough for this advice. These exercises have done more than prescription pain medication ever could!

so glad guys like you guys exist. I had chiropractic adjustment 5 months ago mid back and neck hvla for my lumbar pain(still don"t have the answer why that person adjusted my mid back and neck for lumbar pain)?!!! it resulted in severe pain in my mid back up and down mostly right side radiated all the way to my neck and headaches, dizziness, tingling to the right at the lower tip of the scapula all the way to the front chest, along right breast area. some symptoms subsided but still very tight and tender at t4 t5 t6 right side and tingling along the bottom shoulder.. ive been only walking and doing some gentle exercises and seeing an osteo for some deep tissue release whish seems to help with all the irritation. i tried the ball and its very painfull, the physio ive seen told me its most probably lateral herniation and the neurosurgeon believes its a muscle. mri shows t5t6 and t8t9 right protrusions. thanks for the videos, very accurate and helpful

Thank you! I just tried the exercise, and I could feel the stretch localizing to the middle of spine. I have been suffering with debilitating thoracic pain for more than eight years. It was progessing so I was having trouble breathing and spasms would spread all over my body. I finally got a nerve ablation, and that has given me my life back, but it is temporary, and I still fear the day of the returning pain. Any exercise that helps me stay loose and pain free is appreciated more than you can imagine. Keep up your great work!

Bob and Brad. I just watched your video on mid back pain. This is exactly what I have. Sometimes when I step down or stub my foot it is like seeing god! My background is that I have been working out 3 times a week for the past 40 years. I know muscle structure and do's and don'ts when working out. I used to teach people how to workout correctly. However, my injury came from a snowmobile. I did not know how to deal with this type of injury. In the past I did get cortisone shots in the disk that was causing the problems. This seemed to work for about a year or so. However, the pain would come back. I am going for a therapy evaluation today. I wanted to be prepared. Your video on this has given me what I need to insure that the treatment is going where it is supposed to. Thanks!

I got ran over by a car 18-19 years ago...i am 25 years old. And i just recently found a doctor that actually takes me seriously regardless of my age for the first time in almost 2 decades, and he finally was able to diagnose me with thoracic radiculopathy and scoliosis. I have multiple herniated disks, between my c5 and 6, and between my t1 and 2...my left thigh went numb years ago, my right hand and fingers and left hand and fingers (mostly my right hand) have been numb as well. This is the best video ive watched to explain why and how. Thank you... hopefully these will keep me from having surgery, but i fear ive had it for so long that surgery would be the only thing to help...

I have had compression fractures since I was in my 30s (early osteoporosis) - it causes nerve pain & numbness. Exercise for flexibility & strength is definitely the best medicine. Stretching over a foam roller, too!
I’ve had RFA in the facet joints, but the side effects from the steroids caused neuropathy for weeks after. Thanks for all your videos.

Lol this was honestly one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a long time. The way these two dude interrupt each other cracked me up 😆

My back has been improved because I used this back pain guidebook, t.co/GZQoiGLijd . That is genuinely a huge deal to me since I have attempted many, many guidelines and also my back still hurts after each a different one. I can`t believe I have acquired the answer for my back trouble I am hoping this will by final relief!.

Loved the video. Could you also give some guidence about t12-L1 herniated disc along with L5-S1 Herniated disc and slightly forward moved bone (near to the L5S1)?
Situation: can't use core strength for L5-S1 as it hurts the T12-L1, severe pain around the ribs when core muscles are used, and pain and numbness in lower body if core muscles are not used..

I just have to say, I have a herniated disk at T5-T6 and went through a lot of doctors in the beginning of my pain who didn’t believe my pain was real. It happened at work when I was 27 and so a lot of the doctors kept telling me I was a liar just trying to get money on workers comp. I had one doctor who believed me and wouldn’t stop until I had an MRI. The type of work you’re saying can be the cause of this type is injury is what I was doing when I got hurt! I was doing dishes in a deep sink for hours and having to bend down, wash, and then place on a tray that I then had to pick up (50-60 pounds of dishes) and place in a sanitizer low to the ground. Then I’d have to pick up that tray from down low to about just below my hips so the dishes could dry. I did this on repeat for a few hours. I’m 5’11” so everything was really far down for me. It just makes me so happy to see doctors who aren’t telling people it can’t happen, but instead explaining how it IS possible, just less likely. Thank you for caring about people ❤
