- This installation used an AEM 50-1200 E85 pump purchased from summit racing.

Ok so I have a 30amp for the pump and the main by the battery is 30amps. It ran good last night now when I turn it on pump runs and then when it stops pops the main 30amp fuse. I’ve stepped down to a 20amp for the pump. It pump runs and pops the 20amp when it stops. Where is the ground strap from the harness connected to the frame on this bike?
How about the AEM 50-1220? it is the same pump just shorter?
Hey I have a question, what year is this and will this mod work for a 2014 Hayabusa? I noticed the model year for this fuel pump stops at 2012. And what is the difference between 2012 and 2014? Thanks in advance.
You would have to back date to the older style pump it does bolt directly on and plug directly in however they do not offer a large internal fuel pump option for your housing
What fuse did you use?because i put 20 amber but in the low revs it takes all the electricity to 12.8 amber.with the 10 fuse dont work

@@busamakismakisbusa7138 yes the fuel pump demands 20 amps at peak flow. If you have voltage issues you either have to many accessories or a charging system issue.
Im using 15a fuse, works fine but the pump is sucking alot voltage from 13.8 now my normal voltage is 12.1, how do i make the voltage normal again ?
How much was that pump? I may grab one before I go in for a tune.

Just did this swap. Having electrical problems. Made it to the end of the alley and at 3500 it died rpm and Speedo stuck. Instructions say min 10 Amps. Looking into it now $132 hope it works out instructions ask for 13 v but will run on less voltage.
You need to put at least a 15 amp fuse in your fuel pump slot I usually put a 20 in
@@RingTuned I put in a 30 amp put around 150 miles in her tonight. 190+ mph with the new pump. I would say well over 200mph. Backed off 170mph coming up on some cars I passed them going 20 or 30 over and one of them was a trooper but didn’t chase. I got a head light flash but after 100yards away I laid back into it.
Amazon replacement pumps are garbage. Funny how fast you burn fuel at 200mph.

I did my mates today, it leaked a little out of the keyhole, was a small amount and but didn’t damage the paint thankfully, thanks for the vid, was a good help, cheers
This AEM motor works for busa gen 2 fuel pump?
It works in the early gen 2 yes. If you have a flat bottom on your pump no it doesn't but If it has the bowl on the bottom it works great.

So AEM 50-1200 is the pump of choice my bike have akrapovich 4-1 and free filter only modifications
