- In todays video I take a trip to my local Lego store to buy the latest October 2023 sets. Most exciting of all the sets released in October is the highly anticipated Lego Star Wars UCS Venator and the Ideas Viking Village. I will give you guys a tour of the Lego store, looking at the sets on display and show you my purchases

Did you buy the UCS Venator or any other newly released Lego sets?
Great advice about carrying the box around the mall, I hadn't thought of that! Great video!
It was fun buying in person but after a couple of hours dragging round the shopping mall, kinda wished I brought online, but well worth it in the end😂
Lolllll nice day for the collection. Definitely need a new house 😂. Love the Viking Village, just exudes that medieval feeling and flavour.
Thankfully not too many more sets to come out in 2023, give me time to have a good reorganise🙂I just started the Viking Village tonight, 2 bags in and it’s brilliant, going to run the blacksmith close I think

Yeah I’m thankful the Lego store had the big canvas bags. The Viking Village is brilliant, I’m building it now, highly recommended so far🙂
hi think about time to remove walls for Lego room lol bet that was heavy with real big box you start to lift weights move that around the shop's 😃
Haha certainly saves going to the gym lol, I really need to think about getting a trolly to carry these big sets when i buy them in store😂
Another great video. I’ll just let you know as I don’t know if you do, but your last 3 videos, the colour has been off. I don’t know if you have brightness up too high or what, but thought I’d just mention it.
Yeah I had noticed a slight difference in the colour but I can quite work out what’s going on, I don’t think I have changed anything, will have to play around with things and correct it🙂

Nice haul! I didn't buy any sets. I thought about the Venator but I will wait until May 4, 2024, or until there is a good promo stack I like, whichever comes first.
Thank you, yeah not a bad idea to wait, it’s going to be around for many years so plenty of time to pick the right time to buy to make sure you get the best deal you can, it’s a very expensive set🙂
my store is more or less an hour away, don't get there often, usually only once or twice a year actually, too bad, store looks great! all my holiday sets arrive, but I'm focusing on Hogwarts Castle & Grounds, starting bag 7!
I must admit as much as I enjoy going to London, I do love my local Lego store, it’s very nice and they always have nice displays. Oh glad your building Hogwarts set, it’s amazing seeing it come together, very enjoyable🙂
I will get the venator someday when i have that much money to spend and the proper shelf space for it. RIght now I have neither lol but I know this set will easily be around until 2030 at the minimum so no rush for me haha. It gives me plenty of time to focus on some other expensive sets I need to get my hands on first. I reallly love the VIking Village. Definitely gonna be a purchase for next year, possibly towards the end of the year around the holidays. I still want to see what will be on the retiring list for next year. Although for me I dont predict a very large list for me or my gf next year. This year was stacked as we were just getting back into the hobby last year
You have many years to get the Venator, it’s going to be around for a long time, to be honest if I didn’t have all my insider points saved I would never be able to buy it, hence I’m unlikely to ever get the UCS AT-AT unless it has a huge discount, it’s just to expensive and as much as I desire it, I’m not sure I can justify ever spending $850 on a single Lego set. This year has been amazing, 2024 has a lot of work to do if it’s to match this year🙂
Nice! I will definitely be grabbing the venator. I picked up the Viking village. Love the look of that set. Not sure if you saw the news today but apparently a medieval village coming and a new modular natural history museum which sounds very promising. Looking forward to the venator review (eventually)!
I did see the news about the modular, I have to say I’m super excited at the prospect, sounds like a big set, over 4K pieces, hopefully it will be a worthy successor to Assembly Square. I do recommend buying the Venator online but wait until next week, double vip/insider points, maybe new GWP’s too🙂
@@TheDyslexicGeak I’m super tempted to get the UCS AT-AT on double vip (whilst using a bunch of my own vip to get the price down significantly). I may wait until next year though so this time might be the alpine village. Not sure. Venator is up after the AT-AT 😂
@@Ultra_bricks I don’t think I will ever get the AT-AT it’s just so expensive, but I do remember last year the Disney store having a big discount on it for Black Friday, think it was down to like £550 or so. If that happens, I may bite🙂
@@TheDyslexicGeak yeh I need to be able to get it down significantly to justify it but for me it is THE UCS set. So I need to figure it out 😂
@@Ultra_bricks I’ve only just noticed that Smyths actually stock it, I haven’t seen them ever have a sale on it but hopefully maybe they will for Black Friday🤞
