We have the drink package but like the convenience of having some in the room for the week. We love the Steakhouse and Cucina del Capitano! We just love Cove balconies. The behind the fun tour is a must do experience!
Alright, the Elation was our first ever cruise, out of New Orleans back in .....I cant even remember. We will always have a special connection with that ship!

I agree with you about the excursions. In some cases it’s worth the few extra dollars for peace of mind. This may fall under a different topic or video but regarding excursions, what’s the tip etiquette? More specifically for the couch bus driver and guide if there is one.

Hi Andrew, I splurged on my last cruise for my birthday booked the steakhouse 555 for my birthday dinner I believe it was 2022
Really enjoyed the steakhouse. It was on the carnival breeze I have not done. The Carnival Pride yet i did watched the naming ceremony
From the jubilee was trying to get down to Galveston, but did not get the chance so I just watched it live from home.
I am excited to try the jubilee when I get the chance!!
Birthday in the steakhouse sounds wonderful! We received a free meal when Michelle turned Diamond that we haven't used yet, but i think we are going to wait until the Carnival Celebration to use it. (More options that we haven't tried yet.)

Great video. We have two Carnival cruises coming up (1st time we have cruised in 15 years) and from what I have been reading, Carnival has made their food quality better while other cruise companies, food quality has declined. We had OBC for both and for one we are doing the "Chefs Table" (may do the steakhouse for 1 night too) & on the 2nd cruise, we used our OBC for two nights at the steakhouse. First cruise is now about 2 1/2 months away!
It's coming sooooon! SO excited for you! Yes Carnival appointed Emeril Lagasse became their new Chief Culinary Officer recently and revamped their menu from top to bottom. We have not tried the new menu yet but excited to do so in 10 short days!

We'll be going on Carnival for our qst cruise in May. One of our ports is supposed to be at 10am, and many of the excursions "start" time is 1030/11...and thats the only time. So is that a general time as its booked by the cruise? Meaning anyone doing the excursion gets off first, tender port, and all go together perhaps to the dock and than to the excursion.?

If you book the excursion through Carnival, you will have a meet up time on your ticket. Once everyone is at the meetup area, Carnival’s guide will escort everyone in the excursion off the ship. Now some excursions have instructions to meet on the dock or at the end of the pier. That will be on you to get there by the designated time. Luckily Carnival’s debarkation off the ship at destinations is very quick. (I would give yourself 20 minutes extra though just in case) I hope this helps, if you have any other questions let me know!
