Like they say “growing old is a privilege denied to many” life is worth living at every age! I’m 24 and so excited to grow old!
I am 27 and the reason I feel old is because at this age I thought I would have a lot more accomplished, the fact that I still have the goals that I have at this age makes me feel old, and a burden to be honest. It can get really depressing cause I never thought at this age my life would still be this way. I feel that I am on twilight zone being punished over and over again.

Anti-aging products have absolutely nothing to do with your age. Koreans start applying anti-aging products in their 20s to protect their skin. By the time, they are in their fifties, their skin still looks young. It is easier to protect your skin than to reverse the effects of aging.
Catherine Omondi I live in Korea and I was just going to comment, for most people skin elasticity starts deteriorating at about 25. UV damage ages you from birth. Nothing wrong with taking preventative measures for ageing, in my opinion.

I literally just had a talk with my boyfriend about where I want to be in life by the time I’m 25-26 (im21rn) lol and I think it just depends on the person, I don’t want to be in my mid-late 30s still bae hopping and dating for a few months or 1-2 years. When I first started high school, they put a lot of pressure on us to get life together and grown up, so it’s kinda imbedded in our brains that we need to make money and settle down with a spouse/family as soon as you can

Society is extremely harsh towards women. Loni is so right! The reason why Tamera doesnt understand this or doesnt feel like she needs to hide her age is because she's happily married with children. But women above 25 who arent married with children are looked down upon by society and taunted. I have so many friends who started hiding their real age after the age of 25, they hid it on their social media profiles, and always tell their age a few years younger than they actually are. Ageism is so so real and it's directed towards women. If society wasnt so ageist, women wouldnt have a problem being proud of themselves and the wisdom they gained throughout the years.
I'll be honest. I'm married but look much younger. I have an issue with aging and people think I'm 4 to 5 years younger than I am depending on what I tell them.

I'm turning 30 this year and I would have to agree with everything they are saying. I kinda hated my 20's , I love how confident I'v grown the older I've gotten . You do tend to care less about what other ppl think and it's the most freeing thing ever! I love being a grown ass woman lol there's nothing sexier haha

Hey Loni, I'd say some people take preventative measures, like anti-aging cream, starting in their late 20/30's.. dont think that's bad to start earlier. What I think is bad is only portraying young people in the media as beautiful, when all ages are beautiful. Wrinkles do not equate to ugly and there is also nothing wrong with taking care of your skin,.

My mother made me start wearing anti aging night cream at age 7. The panic was genetic, thankfully I outgrew it

I’m so happy Adrienne came clean about going grey. I turned 30 this year and found two greys and thought it was all ending 😂 I know everyone goes grey but hearing a gorgeous girl like her is makes me feel so much more confident about it. So blessed to have come this far in life! 30 is further than lots of people get to go so we all got to be grateful :)
I'm almost 30 years old and once you get into your 30's your start becoming more wiser smarter and thinking clear as your mind of your body and soul. I don't want to go relived in my 20's and once I get in my 30's. Next Year in Spring of 2020.

I started feeling old since I turned 24. I thought entering my mid twenties was old and I dreaded my birthdays, but I realized it wasn’t the number. I just wasn’t where I wanted to be at that age.
I’m in my 20’s and use anti aging skincare products to slow down the signs of aging. It’s easier to slow the process than to reverse the process when you get older. 🤷♀️

I am 40 and I feel pretty awesome. The things I worried about in my 20s and 30s no longer hold as much weight. Although I have my moments of feeling I am not where I want to be in life, I am reminded of how much I have accomplished and survived. As I get older, I am more focused on how I can be a better person and how I can contribute to a better world rather than materialistic things. #feelingblessed

VSG They played 21?! I don’t remember Twitches that well but I could of sworn they were playing 16 year olds. One of the Twins (Tamera) was all excited for her perfect birthday party, she was acting bubbly like a teenager buying her frilly lil party dress & stuff. The other twin (Tia) was dreading her birthday cause she sensed something bad was gonna happen. She was more of the angsty teen with the typical “you’ll never understand” attitude.

Loved this! I am 31, recently discovered my first gray hair, some wrinkles of my forehead getting deeper, and instantly felt soooooo old... guess I just better suck it up, and be thankful.
I’m 34 and still get carded. I love my greys and I’ve never been one to be ashamed of my age. I’ve experienced a lot and I’m proud of who I am today 💁🏼♀️
I recently turned 30 and so far, it’s been extremely gracious and eye opening for me as a female. I recently went through an abortion procedure and that is real. And that has really been changing things in me that has catapulted me into a different direction. I pray that my 30s are more wonderful and freeing than my 20s. There is so much talk about turning 30 and people don’t realize just how much emphasis they put behind these numbers they put on us as a society.
I’ll turn 40 this year I’m thankful to god for all my blessings I’m actually excited for my 40th birthday your soul doesn’t age just your body you do become wiser

I’m in my twenties but i do use anti-ageing products. From my research it helps to delay signs of ageing. But i draw the line at going under the knife. Thats too scary for me

Yeah but we do these "crazy treatments now" to avoid looking 80 when you get to 50. I like to call it WELL AGAIN. Prevention is better than cure. Not saying you can prevent old age, but the way you take care of yourself inside and out will slow and better the process.

I'm 22 and I have 8 grey hairs. And I'm so ok with that, I always said I'd start to dye my hair when I went grey so now it's my time to try some crazy colors
I understand what Jeannie said, however the best way to combat people judging others based on how we dress or tattoo's you may have is normalising it, the best way to do that is to show it off. There are millions of smart people out there that look a little (or a lot) 'rough' that have so much knowledge and intelligence... If these people were given a space in the public eye we'd be less likely to judge negatively because we are used to seeing it.

Yeah, I know I went into college thinking okay I don't want to take loans out, so what if I take less classes a semester. it prolonged, it turned a 4 year plan into a 6 year plan but at least I don't have any loans to pay... Even though now i'm on the 6th year, almost 25, all my high school friends are done and graduated, starting families, or seemingly getting their life in order, I just wish I was done with college. but my current friends are telling me, "No, you're doing you, don't compare yourself!" and I know they're right.

Millennials are worried about age because we are perpetually on the struggle bus. We feel like (at least I do) we haven't accomplished what we wanted too and we feel like time just running away. Maybe for our parents it was about looks but for us its about not living with our parents throughout adulthood.
I have 3 tattoos. I got them because in moments of weakness I wanted to be physically reminded of certain things. Because I am aware I have to cover them it some situations, it doesn't bother me when that comes up. I don't care what people I don't know think about me.
i think any age at any time a person may feel that way, sometimes it's not even the milestone ages (30, 40, 50 etc) it could be in between, and you just don't feel like celebrating or doing much about it, while other years you're like ready to turn up! :), i'm always told how young i look and it used to bug me but as i got older i turned it into a positive. @ The CNE (Annual Summer Exhibition Event in Toronto) they have a game called "Guess your age/weight". Well ofcourse I have them guess my age, and the poor person is always off by years! it's about 11 years running now, my hot streak is still alive. LOL. Suffice it to say, it's all about individual perception (don't let others make you catch feelings about your age - embrace it) :D
Even though this is old, I hate this, only because I'm a millennial and went to school for beauty marketing and merchandise and one of the most important things I learned is that skin care and anti aging products can actually be beneficial to your looks if you're using them in your earlier ages. Although it's not needed, I just feel like this topic wasn't researched enough. We live in a generation where we have more access to information that wasn't accessible before.

Exactly. Some young people definitely obsess over age to a worrying extent- especially with today's perfection culture- but some of us are just doing preventative care. It takes a lot more effort to reverse than to prevent. Using anti-aging skin appropriate products are totally fine, especially if your mental state around looks and age are healthy.

I turned 23 this year and feel the pressure of getting old. Being alone, never going out, never having a relationship, only really want to be at home, seeing people my age and younger doing so many things in their life and feeling worthless... Age scares me to death. I feel my life going by so fast and slipping away from my hands.

Life is definitely not where I had imagined I'd be at 26 when I was a teenager and a kid, but I kind of have a unique life situation, so I'm trying to do the best with what I've been given and am move toward my life goals at a slower pace than others, but I think that's okay. We're just 3 years apart but 23 sounds so young to me because in my head 26 is essentially already 30 😅

It's actually younger women who shame older women for their age; and they do it harshly. Little do they know that they are aging themselves. They need to stop and realize that if another woman was born before them then all that means is that they were born before them. It doesn't change anything...happiness, sexiness, love remains...the difference is intelligence and maturity improves. Ppl need to learn that aging is a source of privilege, not a disadvantage as most want to enforce.

listen I am almost 43 and I have only found 1 gray hair on my head and several gray hairs on my chin and ladybits. I was horrified about the ladybits, now I embrace it. I am still waiting for the gray to come in on my head.

@@denisejimenez8048 awe girl thank you so much!! And I totally understand where your coming from though! I'm 24 now and it took me a while to get here.. When they first started coming in I didn't like it because they were just short white hairs popping up (and only in the front where my streak is now) and they were so hard to maintain. Most of high school I started bleaching my hair and dying it all different colors, but eventually when the white becane more prominent I had to bleach my hair more and more to get my colors to stick. I just didn't want to damage it anymore so I dyed it all one color in 2013 and haven't colored it since.. Everyone always asks where I get it done because they've tried it and it never comes out as white and I'm just there like "uhh it's not dyed, but thank you"😂
