- I dated a co-worker and it wasn't an issue for me. We ended up losing touch after I quit that job, but reconnected two years later. Long story short, we celebrated our 8 Year Wedding Anniversary in October. So, I say this to say you never know where you'll find love! #Blessings
blessed_mama7 Our manager at the time always used to put us in the same area to work. We talked all the time and helped each other figure out where to put certain items on the sales floor. I would act like I didn't know where certain things went just so we could talk more, and we also went on our breaks together as well.
nana nana Thank you! We actually talked more when I worked there then after I quit. My ex boyfriend got me in the way and kind of ruined things for a while.
No! You never ever date a co-worker, take it from me! Let’s say you work closely together, if you had a fight at home, you’re going to end up taking that fight to work and vice versa. Plus being around your partner at work and at home can be a bit suffocating. And if you guys break up and work at the same place, you’ll start hearing gossip about him and the girls he’s talking to. That’s just going to drive you crazy and hurt your feelings. Don’t do it loves. 💔
Actually I agree with you because my sister told me about this married couple that works together at her job and basically there relationship is something were I believe other coworkers know of. And my sister told me stories about how the husband is sexist and he takes but never gives back to his wife and he doesn't treat her right and it shows in her work place.
Yeah... I had to learn that the hard way. He ended up quitting for another job, but a few guys that work in his area will not let me forget it. I've had a few guys express that they like me but i won't cross that line because i remember how awkward things got when we broke up with my ex.
Vanessa Cortez nah that depends if you're mature or not. All the problems you just listed sound immature af. My sister and her husband been working together for years and they never had any of those problems 🤷🏻♀️
@@bambi7563 You're right. My bf and I keep it professional. Been dating for almost two years and known each other for almost three. 🤷♀️ All about maturity.

I dated a coworker. He ended up switching jobs almost a year in and I found another place a few months after as well. We’re still together & i don’t regret taking that risk. You never know who you fall for and life’s too short to be scared to take that chance. I say go for it and hope for the best 🤞🏼
It really depends on the person. My man and I worked together but in separate departments. Still everyone would see us together and asked, we always kept it on the low. Now we've been together for 4 years. I think it takes maturity to know that you do have to separate your personal issues vs your work. Always leave those problems outside of work, it can mess up your hustle.

So they gave it to someone else with less experience. Right after I quit and found a job that paid me twice as much. Their loss.

That flight attendant at Delta should at least be facing some penalty for putting the other passenger at risk for discrimination against the doctor that raised her hand.

I love the male point of view here.... they are almost completely detached from the emotional side of this first topic. They are considering factors of why this lady though this way. Grant it, (of course) it's desensitized, but true.

If there's an insistence on credentials it leads to me consistent, for everyone in every situation. I also agree with the commentary that the way the doctor was talked down too was evidence enough.
Yes! Put that guy in his place. His answer confused me... You can sense his discrimination...
Gary wanted to know why a doctor would be flying coach
Are we gonna let him slide w saying “they probably never seen a black doctor “they just seen one!
I'm a female black medic and one of my cousins is a white and medic too. We both get called 'nurse' despite introducing ourselves from the get go. Think its stereotypes in people's minds.
Lmao Lonnie and Gary while Adrienne was talking about Israel and a woman trainer working him out when u ain't there... Lonnie "Mhmmmm" Gary "well we gonna agree to dis agree" lmao I'm the same, I couldn't agree wit it..nahnahnah. just can't get past it for some reason

I dated my co-worker, 5 years later we have a daughter together ❤️
My husband was my co worker!! Lol
Let’s have a reality check here..you could have a doctorate in philosophy..and be called a doctor..I’d want credentials shown or for the doctor who is about to check me out to be recognised. After all, if it’s a bogus doctor, the airline gets sued..for not checking..
I love the male point of view here.... they are almost completely detached from the emotional side of this first topic. They are considering factors of why this lady though this way. Grant it, (of course) it's desensitized, but true.
