it works. but one question - I had a spreadsheet with 20 different headers and lots of data in it. in the end, I would also want to filter on it and see what details it has. while I lock the whole sheet and unlock the ones which are editable it doesn't allow me to filter on the headers.. how do I get rid of this issue?
How monumentally absurd. Why on earth would you not be able to simply highlight the cell you want locked and lock just that cell. It should in no way involve literally every. other. cell. on the sheet. Leave it to Microsoft to come up with something so needlessly convoluted. Bravo 👏🏻
@@Elisenumbers just copy the file and paste it. Now open the duplicate file you can edit the datas. Or select all the cells which are filled with datas and paste it to the another sheet. Then you can the datas as you want.

Protect got 2meanings :- 1 is cannot move just look only. 2 is lock at some area but still can do work at worksheet.
