My mother would make it with homemade sambhar powder, murungakkai, kathirikkai and tomato and finally add varuthu poditha kopparai to top.. Much different taste than the masala version we make.. Your video prompts me to try it next time without the masala version

Yummy...In Bangalore we make dry bisibelabath powder as you said and add kidney beans and ground nuts along with the vegetables,for side dish we have ot with boondi and onion raitha thats only the difference..thanks for sharing will definitely try this style of cooking....

Karnataka authentic Bisi bele bath is totally different and different tastes althoghter. What you made is very good and tasty. Very good sambar bath. Can say tamilnadu paruppu sadam. Not bele, besi in Kannada word.
