A marriage does take work all the time and not just 50/50 percent. No such thing as a perfect relationship but communication is always needed. But if he can’t understand or can’t tolerate she did cheat by kissing and planning and having an emotional affair even though she changed her mind. Then he must do what he must. Divorce. Up to the couple not us. A man has to put in effort also. Seems his was lacking.

The story is a bit silly. A lot of drama. So why did she tell him about the trip? And why did she first tell him, and THEN cancel the trip? And actually, the kiss is less a problem than the fact that they had planned the next step, a trip together. At least they dealt with things, and, although belatedly, started to work on their relationship. A marriage is not an endpoint, it is a dynamic, living thing, and needs constant attention in order to keep it healthy and alive. Hopefully the two characters in the story will now work at maintaining their relationship, rather than assuming it will somehow take care of itself while they are busy doing other things....
First of all a kiss is never just a kiss, you should have insisted on a Polly Graph test to find out what the real truth was and then you could make a informed decision on what you wanted to do. I personally find it very hard to believe that Mike was going to spend the money on a trip to Vegas unless he was already having zex with your wife. I think she only came to you because someone probably saw her and Mike together and she was trying to do damage control, also now that she is not working she has plenty of time to get with Mike or somebody else. Once a cheater always a cheater, get your self checked out for STDs and HIV because you really don’t know what the truth is.
