Welcome back everyone, it's been a long time without editing, but now with the new final season of vikings, i said ok I must do again a Bjorn video!
What a final season! I really liked it despite a few points to review,.. You can think what you want about Bjorn but he is the one who raised the level after the death of Ragnar, and he succed him very well, what a talended actor!
I love him, I love Vikings, I will miss it.. Farewell..
I hope to do more vikings video, like ubbe, Floki, Harald, Hvitserk, Ivar but not enough time.. we will see!

Lothbrok wasn't a family name, it was a given name like Ironside
It should be Ubbe Ragnarson
While in real life it would be true someone mentioned the sons of Ragnar as "the Lothbroks" in one of the last episodes
@@davidjarkeld2333 In norse tradition you were only given a last name if you done something to earn it. Otherwise you would just been called "son of your father"
Bjorn Ironside is one of my favorite characters from anything ever. He made many mistakes. He failed many times. But he always got back up and strove to be a better man, a better king. And he died a great man, a great king. He did not hide from death when it came. Instead, he embraced it. And in doing so he stayed true to himself, his people, and his father's legacy. All hail King Bjorn!

Ivar inherited his father's mind and rage, and became a VIKING in his image.
but Bjorn inherited his heart and true passion, and lived and died as a KING.
Ivar is a little bitch in my mind, the only way he got there is because of his father blood and legacy. The tactics he had are basics, compares to Ragnar. ( In the tv show )
And Ubbe inherited his Dream and Morals while Hvitsek inherited his drinking

We saw how he grew from a curious boy that loved his parents to the true king of kings and heir of Ragnar. Thank you for this beautiful rendition of one of the greatest characters in a TV series.

With his dying gasp united a nation.
On his deathbed, when his nation was divided and his kingdom despaired, he led the march to defend from the invaders. Would he have led them into battle were it not for Valhalla knowing it is accessible only to those who die in battle?
@@spiguy you can still go to valhalla if you die away from battlefield but only if you great warriors and the valkryies have been watching, waiting for you to join, the only way for a standard warrior tho is to die on the battlefield

It was a great thing to put Ubbe and Bjorn's moments at the end. I feel like they relations were the most underrated part of the show. They were completely different when it comes to character and goals yet still they have always loved each other and they have always worked together. By far the two best sons of Rangar Lothbrok!
yes - I would have loved a scene where Ubbe thinks about Bjorn's death - not just the "he was our brother" speech. I think that kinda missed the tone of their relationship.

Actually you're incorrect they are the most similar of the brothers as well as their characters.
Björn and Ubbe were both interested in preserving Ragnar's dream. Björn and Ubbe were both interested and curious about exploring the world.
They never wanted to have power to use for their own pleasure but instead wanted to ensure their peoples future was greater than they ever had before.
The essence of Ragnar existed in both of them and they actually were more alike than they were different.
@@gustaf3811 I disagree. Ragnar's biggest dream was to create a settlement in England so Vikings could live in better conditions. Bjorn didn't really care about this while Ubbe has literally risked his life to get it and later to protect it.
When it comes to their personality - they were hardly anything alike.
@@TheMiksonPL True - where Ubbe was calculated Bjorn was rash. But both would rather compromise than fight where there was nothing to gain. They are very much alike Ragnar but different shades.
First time I've ever cried for the death of a character (sure they were also real people but there's myth and also direction behind the show). I don't I'll ever cry for one.

Beautiful and moving video for what perhaps is my favorite "tv" character.
You did a great job with the personal quotes and highlighting how he put aside his dreams to finish his father's and then fulfill his destiny to lead his people. How he always pushed through, no matter how many failures and losses he had to suffer. And the editing on all the small details how he mirrors Ragnar - great!

I don't feel I am 'overly emotional', but,... my allergies really made my eyes run when I watched this! Darn show, kicked my runny nose off when Ragnar dies, and when Logatha lies at the bottom of the water next to Ragnar. This show was so fantastically well done! It's going to be a long time before a show its equal comes along.
