sono irlandese ma vivo in italia da 10 anni, la pronuncia non è così importante...hai mai sentito Mal cantare in italiano??? eppure....
As I said it's one of the most beautiful versions I've heard...but for a gaidhlig speaker, I think it's important to get it right...I appreciate she has obviously learnt the song phonetically but technically isn't singing the words ;o this is a song I have sung since I was a wee girl so it means a lot ;)
anniefuzz I cannot comment for the words, but being a musician myself with Gaelic blood I wanted to offer a little advice on the chords chosen by the guitarist. Firstly, this is a great rendition, but in the spirit of sharing I would like to suggest that rather than go home to Bm (first occurs 1 minute mark) G should be played. I could recommend many other chord changes here which would improve the tonal colour but first I await whether you like the suggestion.
