Nice to see your back out on the bike and filming.
If you've never been, try going to St Andres's church Portland. Very interesting, to me inside it feels like an upturned boat.
Good to hear you like the Giant, I love mine and would get another if I lose or break it.
    Thanks for the video

Hi Andy. So pleased that you are getting used to and liking your Giant Tough Road. I've had different models of Giant bikes for 20 years +. I've always found them to be excellent bikes and well built. At present I ride a Giant Escape 2 which suits me now as I'm now 77 and can only manage about 20 miles on a ride. Thanks for sharing your wonderful videos.....always a treat. Des P

      Thanks Des.
When I was unsure what to replace stolen bike with I came across the Giant as a possible
One my old cycling buddies would often tell me how much she liked her 2 Giant bikes
I think that personal recommendation played a big part in my choice
So far I'm delighted with it.
It's good to hear you also regard them highly too
      Regards, Andy

Ah, you tease, an embarrassing anecdote of a cliff hanger ! Nice weather, we've had 2 years of solid rain now in Wales, enjoy.

As always, a really nice video! I loved the scenery - it looked like a really nice tour, and I'm waiting to see your camp and the return leg of your trip.
I'd be interested to know where and how you mount your camera for your riding shots - I use a handlebar bracket but it's hard to get steady clips, especially uphill, whereas you manage to produce nice smooth footage.
While we're confessing things... I rode into the back of a parked car on a long straight road; my nose was ok but the frame and forks got bent, although the guy who eventually stole the bike didn't seem put off by that.
Regarding sealant in inner tubes: I have been using slime (the green sealant) in my tubes for about 10 years - sometimes I put it in myself, but it's very tricky to get it into tubes with non-removable Presta valves so I buy ready filled, Slime branded tubes (which are actually fitted with removable Presta valves).
Quite often, when replacing a worn tyre, I have found that my tube has 2 or 3 holes that the slime has sealed without me even knowing. Sometimes the tube deflates, but if you put the hole at the bottom when you pump it up the slime will often seal it. It seems to stay sealed better (surprisingly) if you pump the punctured tube up pretty hard. On the negative side, I have found it very hard (but not impossible, fortunately) to get patches to stick to a slime filled tube.
Other sealants are available but I personally stick with Slime just because I know it. It also washes off things easily because it's not sticky. Hope that helps!

      Thanks buddy.
The camera handlebar camera mount is a dedicated magnetic mount by DJI and anchors my DJI Osmo action 2 camera to the handlebars
The DJI camera does the magic really as it has impressive stabilisation and Horizonal balance.
Thanks for the inner tube sealant advice.
      That's really helpful.
Will try this and see how it goes.
Tbh I've been a bit nervous to take the wheels out yet
In case the disc brakes don't align and then bind when I put them back in.
Now I know I'm definitely on tubes I'll try this soon ..at home ..on a work stand
      Best wishes,
      Andy

@@andysadventures3910 Thanks for that - I guess I need a better camera then!
I don't think you should have a problem with the brakes after removing the wheel - but it's a good idea to practice at home first - I didn't!
