Wow - I didn't realize that is how carbon fiber is applied. Very Cool - Looks Awesome.

Thanks, Tim. Usually carbon fiber parts are 100% carbon fiber with no other materials underneath. This is how you "skin" a part in carbon fiber for aesthetic purposes. Thanks for tuning in!

I hope that holds up to the heat, but it looks good man! I'm a huge GS guy, have a 1980 and a 1982 GS850G. Slight cafe builds, but more stock, I like the classic look. I'll be watching! (This is Sleepy, I produce motostories)

I hope it holds up too. If it doesn't, I'll probably do it again with heat resistant epoxy! I like the look that much.

Can I see a picture of it after you run it for a few weeks to see if there are any defects?

I was thinking of doing this as well, how is it holding up after 2 years? Thanks!

Still holding up. Your mileage may vary, but mine is still working out.

So how is this holding up? Any melting issues? Cheers

Holding up surprisingly well. Pretty sure the epoxy nearest the mid pipe gets soft every time I run it, but that's it.
