Just bought a new 2019 XF Prestige about a month ago. Wasn’t looking for a Jag, but dealer’s persistence plus an incredible deal swung me over. Coming from a long line of BMWs, it took some getting used to but it is starting to grow on me. It is overpriced at $60k+ (for the options offered) and def needs to step up its game on the next refresh/ redesign.

It was refreshed a few years ago but you couldn’t tell. Compared to today’s competition (Audi A6, Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series) the XF appears extra dated. Needs a redesign inside and out like yesterday.

I went with a friend to test drive one of these cars. The car's body panels seemed very thin. The doors closed like they were made of aluminum foil. The car had a light, tinny feel. It was a bit posh inside, but the ride reflected the thin and flimsy construction. The car had the vitamin pill look like so many cars that cost much less.
Please tell me the XJ is the next review?? 👀👀

At least Italy Fiat FCA and China Geely Volvo updates it’s cars looks, features and interiors regularly. It’s almost as if India Tata Jaguar prefers to stand on ceremony and cheapness for a wee bit more for every car model than their competitors.

Yikes! That interior is seems a little stark for 61k and a 4pot. Maybe a splash of color (contrast stitching etc). Even worse, they add sparkle with shiny piano black plastic in all sorts of places you will smudge and scratch and that will show off dust. This car is in a tough place. It needs a refreshing and this may not be the time nor segment that can support that. Nice review though.
It built in a social democracy country UK , of course it won't be cheap

Good review dude but one tiny bit of feedback... slow down man. Speak a little more slowly and carefully as it is quite fatiguing to listen to your commentary when it's delivered at this speed, which is a shame as your reviews are thorough.

I am a Jag fan bu tthere is just no compelling reason to buy this car. It looks like every other plastic piece of crap on the road today.
blame union leaders and government greed in Europe it expensive , in Australia it $90000
