Been watching your videos for a long time now, and I just wanted to thank you for taking all this extra time to put together and post videos like this. You're a genuinely good person for all the attention you give your fans and I just wanted to thank you for all of us!
@jamy313 I'm pretty sure Taylor would mix the ones done in his studio (such as these). I'm not sure about the home studio work Travis does - I would assume that he mixes the drums himself, seeings as the drum sounds for his lessons are similar to that of the recordings from his home studio. I could be wrong though, many people Travis tracks for like to do their own production or at least be very "hands-on". Try asking Travis on his forum on his website!
i love that a guy who covers a song from taoi cruz gets millions and millions of views but an endless talent like travis is barely known acrross youtube..
@atreyu101101 I have an A custom set that has a 16" and 18" crash plus 14" hats and a 20" medium ride that sound sick as fuck in recordings. In addition to that I use 8", 10" and 12" A custom splashes that also sound amazing in the studio. My personal opinion though.
@Mp5Drummer that's an interesting piece of trivia my friend. i genuinely never knew that thank you. i need a good china/chinese come to think of things.
0:24 - 0:46 : frenetic wtf drumming which complements guitar riff. 1:32 - 1:35 : china complements guitar accent. 2:00 - 2:30 : tasty groovy drumming which makes this part much more interesting for our ears. 3:41 : feel like a boss.
I know you're super swamped, but Travis, in the near future could you make a video on how to tune properly. I've been at this for a while but I've still not found a good tuning tutorial. Much love.
Been watching you for quiet some time now, Just wondering how i would go about getting involved in working with you, (featuring on one of my bands tracks)
@chazzable Travis played Sabian for many years, they call their chinas a "chinese". I guess if you played them a lot, the name would stick in your head.
BTW, I'm a bit disapointed by the fact the band don't even post your vid on facebook or just mention your name and your great work on the tracks. All the artists you work with did this.
@atreyu101101 Not a problem at all man. Always glad to assist a fellow member of the drum community! :D
@Wast3dsacrafice My pleasure, thank you for your reception!
That china stand has been jumping around since the periphery vids, Time to glue it down haha, great playing as always.
@adampetkus thanks man! i appreciate the input.
@crimsonchan911 I don't know how you came to that number, it was around 10 or 11 punches.

@bandit0 This is not my new kit, this is Taylor's old MapleWorks. I don't know, Taylor mixed it as well; samples are blended in.
@vanouro Yes, at home on my practice/home studio kit. Why bother when I'm at Taylor's for a mere two days?

@chazzable no need to be sorry, there was no fault, no fowl.
i kinda like that the ending is loose. makes it a little chaotic.
You should take the wheels off your china stand (; heheh. GREAT job as always!!!
China's got an attitude.
I like your side ride. Have you always had that?
Why is the only video I can find this song

@crimsonchan911 LOL!
@crimsonchan911 I was seriously about to ask just about the same thing hahaha!
Travis! I just ordered an A Custom set, that has 16, and 18" crashes, a 21" sweet ride, and 14" hats. are these any good for recording?

@tristanfrazer chinese??
this singer sounds almost exactly the same as the one from a static lullaby
do you mix your own drum tracks? if you do i would LOVE to see how you do it
i bet youre making a killing off these dime a dozen bands
Is the mixing done by yourself?? or Taylor??
Duct tape!!
i love how the chinese is progressively running away from you
crazy. i just don't like the vocals
