I’ve got this kit and it’s fantastic. I really enjoyed building the Lancaster

I like Airfix! I built a 1/72 MK1a Spitfire to commemorate my grandfather’s favorite plane. Went together very nice overall. Some trouble with the canopy but my only complaint. I actually really like the deep panel lines; especially in the smaller scale.

I built a Revell 1/72 Lancaster a few weeks back, it was my favourite model to build so far. I purchased this same kit a couple of weeks ago and plan to start it tomorrow

6 sprues as the clear parts are also on a sprue too and the lancaster is one of my favourites

The two different propellers on the lanc was because the Canadian built Lancaster had the "paddle board" props. And the other thinner props were for English built lancs

Hello, first time viewer and I will return (not to the Philippines!) and see where you will take the channel and where your favourite skills lie. However please help me and I would assume others as well: the text was all ‘mirrored’ and so will the whole frame be very difficult for viewing and we can’t read anything either. Also (possibly related? ) it appeared that you were working from the floor, fine if you were, and it seemed like you reached down and down and down to pick things up? We’re your feet in shot? Or was that a reflection or something?
I had never seen the effect before and it wasn’t pleasing! Lol

Yeah I was working from the floor I tried not to get my feet in 😂 I now have a better and bigger work space so hopefully current and future spaces are better!

Well, the spitfire rap XIX has a bit of gaps and stuff on it but I managed to scrape away most of that, otherwise that one is good, I’m halfway through the Mk ll a and the build was really nice, I haven’t gotten to the land caster yet but it seem nice this far 👍. So in conclusion, start with the Mk ll a and if it’s not for you you could honestly just sell the rest as they come in different bags...

@@AndreWestlundPhoto has it bang on @Evankeaneygall09 I’m working on the Lancaster as it’s the main reason I bought it, the spitfires are a great place to start then the Lancaster is more challenging and goes to that next step

Most Airfix kits are easy as long as you follow the directions correctly.

Nothing worse than a tamiya snob lol. Airfix are cheap and if your on a budget like me they are more than good enough for what you pay, especially when you get the paints, I'm not paying £70 for one tamiya tank or something with no paints that I then have to buy seperatlet for another £10-15

Totally agree, I like Tamiya but also a massive airfix fan! They’re great I don’t know why people slate them.

@@middomodels8000 Airfix have been putting out some great kits over the last few years. I built both their new tooled 1/48 scale Spitfire and Hurricane. The Spitfire to me looks a lot better than the Tamiya one I built. I just got the new Mustang mk iv and the parts have some amazing detail.

@@Nemesisrooster yeah airfix have massively improved over recent years! Their hurricane is an amazing kit and they’re spitfires are probably becoming some of the best available! They’re mustang looks great too I need to get myself one

@@middomodels8000 Totally agree,I started building Airfix kits in the early 70's. I have always been a fan of theirs and the new kits they have been releasing are excellent.
