My favorite Ukulele player and composer ever. This piece will forever be on my list of top best songs ever invented. It is a true masterpiece.
I've never liked ukulele, but this really opened my eyes to that fact that it's greatest underrated instrument. Thank you1
I have had the immense pleasure of jamming with Kalei. I'm twice his age which means I have practiced music twice as long. He is absolutley incredible. He puts me to shame. All I can compare his natural musical ability to is Mozart. A virtuoso. A prodigy. He is not merely reciting music. He creates his own on the fly. I am paralyzed when I witness him play. I'm a pretty good musician but Kalei is... I am without words.

This song expresses how I feel in my lowest moments but there remains hope for the future and I must press on!
That’s also how I interpreted it as well! Interestingly, he mentioned he wrote it about the ocean in Hawaii which was kinda unexpected. Regardless, this song will forever remain a masterpiece and certainly my favourite song on the ukulele

Kalei is my favorite ukulele artist. I have goose bumps when I hear some of his originals.

Indydh, thank you for that nice comment. I'm just thrilled to know that there are people out there like you who appreciate our simple approach to sound. It's just my opinion but, Kalei is too good to be embedded in a song with a full set of background instrumentation. I want to be able to hear the emotion of every magical note he masterfully makes that instrument sing.

Kalei rips it up! Enjoyed that performance on so many levels. Strumming was insane as was the versatility in ukulele sound. Well done sir.
The song itself isn't to difficult in structure and maybe that is part of it's beauty. The strumming, on the other hand, is godlike.

Kalei is such a wonderful talent. I only wish you could have produced his new album. Even if I'm not looking at your wonderful video production here and just listen, I much prefer your productions of his performances of The Unknown and Mach4 versus the over-produced mess on his new CD. So much more powerful and emotional, and clean.

@GoodAllDrums Not sure what part you are referring to as the "main chorus" but I have started a tutorial series for this and have completed the first 4 Parts. At least two more videos to go to finish it.
