I was there in its heyday - the punk scene that is -- i was not a punk, did not dress like one, did not carry myself like one but i liked going to punk clubs to see bands, dance, jump around and meet chicks - it was fun and lots of energy - that horrible disco era was the worst and for folks who did not fit into that world the punk scene was a refreshing and an accepting escape - so i stopped going to those dreadful discos and would hit the punk clubs in lower Manhattan -- had really fun times - PS - i met Johnny Rotten when the Pistols made there first tour of the States - it was a Sunday night, raining and my college pals and i went out drinking - we were at a favorite bar in Greenwich Village and it was a night where not many people were out - and who was sitting at a table? Johnny -- I said hello, he seemed a bit nervous and my buddies were drunk and rowdy but i calmed them down and told them to leave him alone which they did. Time flies, now we are all geezers pushing 65, enjoy your youth because it is fleeting...

I like how Faux Johnny rolls his Rs! Just like Rotten did! They look and sound a lot like them but they are 25 years younger!
