In my 87 years I have never heard a more beautiful rendition of this beautiful Christmas hymn. Brought tears to my eyes.
My favorite song EVER! This is the finest version I have ever experienced by far. I remember our church choir singing this at midnight mass, and one particular gentleman sang it with such grace and beauty that I had no doubt in the existence of God, Love, or Peace. You topped his performance. Thank you and may your lives be as rich as your beautiful rendition of this meaningful song.

60 years ago, I along with 50 other kids stood with candles in the sanctuary of our Catholic Church and sang this incredible Christmas Hymn in the dark to a filled Church. I feel deep compassion for where you are. I was there once. As a kid in school, I heard two kids arguing about their denominations (Baptist and Presbyterian). For years, I wanted no part of a God whose people couldn't even agree on who He was. But that was before I learned that they don't disagree on who He is, and that it's okay to ask questions and to struggle with answers, including how to answer another's question.
You are loved, no matter your questions.
