    Could you please add more information about tools you’re using? Speed, feed, DOC, WOC. Like CNC FREEZAR does.

    Would it be possible to add Ae and Ap alongside with doped and feed of the perticular tool you are using.. it would be helpful for new evolving machinist like me... Thanks

    Não sei qual o software de cam que estão a utilizar, mas o 1°programa passa muito tempo no ar a reposicionar ferramenta

    why is this milling pattern so wierd? normally one height is milled complete and then the next height is milled but this stops before the last path of the height and then starts at the next height. Then after that it finishes the last pass of the old height if you understand what i mean

      I wonder what CAM was used. I notice a lot of odd tool paths with Fusion 360

      The adaptive was set to (order by area) instead of (order by depth)

      in mastercam you can click optimize cut order and itll do that but its a bitch to restart if you have to

    Why face mill instead of solid end mill?

    • @johnbrannan7466
      @johnbrannan7466 2 года назад +1

      With how much material is being removed it's probably cheaper to replace inserts on the facemill than the price of a solid endmill. Probably a little quicker too

      @@johnbrannan7466 good point. Hadnt thought of that. Maybe with 6 insert he gets a higher surface speed

      I am pretty sure a big high feed mill is the cheapest and fastest way off roughing especially when you need the low stepdown (1mm) because of the part angle.

    • @peterfoldesi483
      @peterfoldesi483 2 года назад +1

      Faster, and the steps on the part will be a lot lower
      If the machine has the power bigger tools always better

      @@swecnc6299 Totally agree. Ive run a lot of simulations to verify and compare the two methods and Ive found the same. What we need is a dynamic two way adaptive strategy with different feed and ae for climb and conv. cutting to save inserts. That would really improve cycle times and tool life.
