@@Keyhan-c8c No they are not, East Iranic is not the same as regular Iranians. Iranians don’t have the R-Z93 Haplogroup like Afghans and Tajiks do. Iranians are manly of iranian chalcolithic and southern Caucasus and Arab admixture’s.
Here is your Iranian scientist saying any Aryan contribution to iran came from Central Asia and Afghans but it’s very minimal Iranians are indigenous to the area of Iran and Iraq.
The only Iranians that have higher Sintasha ancestry are Mashadis and other eastern Iranians because historically the area was a buffer zone with Afghanistan. Iranian zoroastrians also have high steppe ancestry because they migrated from northern Afghanistan. But majority of Iranian population lives in western Iran and they are the majority

The entire Sughd region (including Khujand), along with Samarkand, the Ferghana Valley, Tashkent, and Bukhara, undoubtedly carry the genetic legacy of the Sogdians. While I identify as Uzbek, I too carry Sogdian ancestry, as Uzbeks have predominantly mixed their genes with those of the Sogdians (and not the Bactrians). @@l-nolazck-rn24 Bulgarians today are so mixed that there is no actual one "core" ancient population that can be identified as ancestor. Even the nomadic people who came here were probably an iranic/turkic mix. However, it is clear that the religion of the ancient Bulgarians was some kind of Zoroastrianism that was prevalent in central Asia. Contrary to popular belief, they were not Tengrist. Some of our royalty were called "Magi" by the Byzantines.

Yes some people migrated there but it wouldn't alter much of the main population. Though it makes sense that there is no clear origin given Bolghars would end up being more akin to a minority rule due to certain byzantine campaigns.
Onto the rest. I'm pretty sure there is few evidence of the Bulgars being Iranic. While they may have had Iranics with them, if there were any left after the Anteans and Sarmatians moved west since the Bulgars didn't came from central asia but either a Siberian or European north.
Either ways they would at most be related to a Scythian subgroup if not the Alans or Tocharians. Not the Sogdians or Bactrians which were further south.
And lastly, many turkic and overall steppe peoples adopted Zoroastrian religions. Such as the Karluk, Yuezhi, later Hepthalites, Uyghur and Turkomen.
