With all due respect for your work, I must point out that the Yagnobis are not the only descendants of the Sogdians. The entire Sughd region (including Khujand), along with Samarkand, the Ferghana Valley, Tashkent, and Bukhara, undoubtedly carry the genetic legacy of the Sogdians. While I identify as Uzbek, I too carry Sogdian ancestry, as Uzbeks have predominantly mixed their genes with those of the Sogdians (and not the Bactrians). I kindly suggest verifying the facts before making such assertions.

Why do some people claim that all Caucasians are Iranic when it’s clearly not true? The indigenous peoples of the Caucasus, like Chechens, Ingush, and Georgians, have been in the region for thousands of years, long before any Iranic groups even existed. While some groups like the Ossetians speak an Iranic language, they are genetically and culturally Caucasian, not Iranic. Iranic peoples came much later from the steppe and have Caucasian DNA due to ancient admixture, but Caucasians themselves are not Iranic. So stop spreading misinformation.

One thing I hate about the Persian language is that it is full of Arabic vocabulary, unlike Kurdish, for example, which has less Arabic vocabulary, even though I am an Arab 😅.

Calling them "iranian" is a lie. Their scythian ancestors had far more affinity with the indo-aryans than with the iranians. Both scythian and indo-aryan people fought, together, harshly against the achemenid empire. Centuries later, they were abandoned by the sassanid empire that became ally with the turks.
